Thank you so much for doing these videos, they've helped me in understand in great detail. Please can you do a video on how to install OEM on windows and how you would setup monitoring for the above Data Guard environment??? Would be greatly appreciated...🙏
Hi bro i have a doubt on creating the environment so can u please add that part of having the two like from the beginning it will be very useful bro can u do that!???
I have a doubt. During the installation of any application, we provide information about the primary database to connect. If the primary database is down, how does the user application automatically switch the connection to the secondary database when we provide primary database details during the user application or software installation? Regarding Data Guard, it copies data from the primary database and stores it in its own storage. So, if the primary database is down and the application is running on the frontend, where will the data be stored in the secondary database? How does this happen?
Primary Database has its own data files and stores data in these data files. Standby Database has its own data files and stores data in these data files. You have to create a service in Primary Database and use these services to connect to Primary Database. And then this service should be active only in the primary database. Perhaps a demo for some other video.
👏👏👏👏 congratulations. Now you have to do one to REactivate the standby when it stops in the different cases.
