Bangladesh protesters want Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus to lead government

Bangladesh’s Parliament has been dissolved, a day after longtime Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country following weeks of deadly unrest.
Organisers of student-led protests met with army officials, insisting they will not accept a military-led government.
Protesters say Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus should head the interim government.
Al Jazeera’s Stefanie Dekker reports and Tanvir Chowdhury joins us live from Dhaka.
Hasan Mahmud, a Professor at Northwestern University in Qatar whose research focuses on Bangladesh joins us here in the studio to discuss this.

I remember people even threw millions of money in sack on the road. Some even left their luxurious car in front of police stations willingly. And jamat is mainly islamic extremists. Their student part, shibir, killed a lot aethist bloggers. It was another kind of terror back then. But ofcourse nth beats this 15 years of dictatorship 😐
