My fellow DJ's, if you didn't get this when it was out you missed out on one hell of a deal and product. I still use mine for my online radio and mobile dj setup. Still works like a charm. If you are lucky to find one scoop it up immediately.

@@geheri not true. Like i stated i use it as part of my mobile dj gear for years now. Great investment. Yes it was made initially for live music but like the irig, DJ's found a way to use it for mobile setup and it works great.

Yeah I think they discontinued them. I honestly think they made it too good and it impacted their other processors.

I bought the 1st one as an alternative to buying a fullout DBX rack. Quickly bought a 2nd for backup. Both at $19.99. High five!

Excellent demonstration although it's hard to hear what the sub-processor does unless you're actually running some serious sub-woofers on your computer's sound system or you have awesome high-end headphones.
My one one criticism is that the small addition of a USB output (obviously for a slightly higher price) would have made this little beauty massively more useful for studio use as a studio direct box for bass and guitar, as well as a nice simple mic preamp. As it is, I LOVE it for small gigs, however if it had a USB output I'd be using it all the time for recording as well. I imagine that this is the reason the price dropped fast on these units. Perhaps there is a new version I'm missing? I'll have to look into that.
At any rate, as it is, it's a dream come true for working bands or solo artists that don't have their own live-sound engineer. I am curious as to how well this little guy would handle a full-on band if you stuck it between a 24 or 32 channel board and either the stage monitors or the mains. The live sound gigs I've done before relied on just a single Peavey graphic eq with feedback detection (where I had to manually cut those frequencies indicated as feedbacking) or later on using a Sabine feedback reduction unit but those were only on channel inserts. That was back in the mid 2000's so I'm curious if it would tame a small rock/punk/metal/blues band. I imagine two of these units (one on the 3/4 buss going to the monitor amp and stage monitor speakers and one on the 1/2 buss going to the primary power amp/main speakers) could potentially do an excellent job.
For a long time I did this type of live sound with no help other than a graphic eq and messing with the board eq and levels. Suffice to say, it was not fun in venues with concrete walls and massive echo but who demanded that we ran a minimum of a 1,000 watt PA system. I would have killed for something like this back then. The Sabine units were great once I got ahold of them, but they were a bit limited. It was only that in combination with a feedback detecting Peavey unit that allowed me to get through really tough venues on a very very low budget.
So you young up-and-coming live-sound engineers and DJ's....you guys/gals have no idea how good you'all have it. lol!

Does this unit do limiting? I want to take analog tv output and limit commercials audio. I am doing this with an old DBX 119. Works great. Will this do the same?
