Omg the room looks awesome, and I want THAT cave shower, I want the outdoor shower hahaha!! Sooo zen!! omg USD44 only! That's a steal! That 2:14 is the journey to the west figurines! I was wondering where is the pig guy, oh he's hiding behind the monk haha! If even Peter needs a break to climb those stairs, I think I can only do half or a quarter of that haha! Ninh Binh is wonderful, I stayed in Ninh Binh in 3 days and I stayed at Phi Hung's Unique homestay. Fantastic with owner, truly local, room is clean and very cheap. About only 12$.

Definitely more people should go here. It is not too far from Hanoi at all. If you dont have time to make the longer trip to Ha Long bay this is definitely a great place to go instead. That hotel looks really nice!

Man this place is so epic. We had been here in September last year and there were hardly any people in the afternoon.
Aw nice! There were quite a few people when we reached the peak during the time we went but it wasn't super crowded or anything 🙂 lots of room to still enjoy the incredible views!

Ninh Binh is wonderful, I stayed in Ninh Binh in 3 days and I stayed at Phi Hung's Unique homestay. Fantastic with owner, truly local, room is clean and very cheap. About only 12$.

I agree about the instant noodles. Sometimes it's nice to eat something familiar while traveling. Nice looking fried rice too. The water buffalos are adorable! What?!!! The King Kong movie set!!! So jealous! You guys are too funny and honest. Love it. Those rolls look amazing. Very unique tour!

Definitely more people should go here. It is not too far from Hanoi at all. If you dont have time to make the longer trip to Ha Long bay this is definitely a great place to go instead. That hotel looks really nice!

Be prepared for that climb though! 🙂 Please note the Kong set was part of the Trang An boat ride originally but it got removed recently (the film set with the huts and people dressed up) so from our understanding that part is gone but you can definitely still see the grottoes. We recommend getting in touch with Tommy who was our tour guide operator in Ninh Binh.
