Eish this is a very sad story about Choral music, however we still need to seat as choirs and address the image of fraternity, it’s sad that it is seen a mobile tarven, most choristers are interested in drinking rather than upskilling musically. As a chorister myself I enjoy music but some experiences are not so pleasant, conductors dating entire front line, every camp is an opportunity to drink, money won is not properly managed, there’s not clear objectives in choirs besides competition trips, Tiro came with a very we’ll managed approach in saving this dying fraternity. How I so wish every competition can be this professional. Choirs need to be registered and audited. Conducters need to be trained so that they’re matured enough. As much as the fraternity is not supported there’s a lot that the local choirs are doing wrong. Institution choirs are triving bcz there are funds that are injected but if you can closely monitor the behaviour of the choristers during competitions it’s really unpleasant and I refuse to believe that there’s any company that would want to be associated with such.
