Do you feel better since you started using this machine? I stop breathing while i sleep and i woke up jumping like crazy!! .. It happened yesterday 3 times..
@@wady0 Completely changed my life, took a good 6 months to get used to it but now i can't sleep without it. I was in the same boat as you waking up and suffered severe sleep aponea. It took alot of personal research for me to find the right mask and do other things to help improve my sleep overall as our health system was very basic/average in regards to sleep aponea and just gave me a machine without any support or follow up. 100% recommend using CPAP and do as much research as possible about improving your sleep and making it work for you.
I am using this machine since 2015. now today 26th April 2022 when I down load the data using Oscar soft ware it shows the last used date as 23 April 2021. after this date there is no data in the machine ( USB)
Is it possible to use this machine without the sensawake, I dont think mine is working properly, sometimes when I wake up suddenly it is very low and I am afraid its not working properly, I take ages to fall asleep so when I go to bed I put the ramp on but am worried the sensawake is not working, its only 1 year old, my readings have gone up a little, I use that sleepyhead software to check my readings but it seems all over the place lately, I wonder how reliable that is...thanks :)
+Christine Lamshed Yes you can turn that feature off, you can also adjust how much the pressure drops when it registered you have woken. Should be able to find the info in the manual or give fisher paykel healthcare a call.
Hi Sean, hot water is fine, in the end it's going to get hot anyway as that's what the humidifier does (heats up water). It just means that it takes less time to heat the water up and as such it will start delivering the humidity instantly instead of waiting for the water to heat up. With regard to the distilled water, this can be quite an expense for some so i guess you have to way up the costs of constantly buying distilled water against using tap water and occasionally using vinegar or other descaling product to clean. Your not supposed to use hot water. Tap water contains minerals and you could skip vinegar if you used distilled.
