@@kareldemeersseman3387 theese arent forza events, you would need to organize this with some friends and play with them.
We've already established that you prefer cars that don't slide around wildly. If a car does slide however you tend to favour understeer rather than oversteer. So how about some offroading in RWD Musclecars in say C or B class so there's barely enough room for sensible tyres and then you could introduce a minimum power limit of.. say 500hp. This way you have variety and it's not too similar to todays event.
Anyway thanks a lot for continously entertaining me throughout the years with more or less serious racing content.
That's a great suggestion. One of my favourite weekly events in FH4 was the Fortune Island race that had an offroad cliffside circuit in B class muscle cars. I think Alex would lose his mind.

A lot of fun watching u all try and handle those beasts. Not sure what to think about all the car banging and paint swapping. Kind of chaotic.
Its necesary due to the extreme low grip. You cant use the brakes to lower your cornering angle because you will pull yourself along with your rival outside of the track, meanwhile whoever is on the outside cant go wider as he won't have enough grip to keep himself on track at the end of the corner, so bumps are unavoidable
@@Ferrari255GTO Thank for the info. Longbow said earlier that it was definitely the handling of the cars. In a way it is just more fun to watch the racers struggling with the cars, lol. Fun for me, but frustrating for the driver:( And I really, really appreciate the racers putting up with the frustration and working so hard for my entertainment. You guys/gals are great.
@@TDurden527 its not as frustrating as it can be fun most times if you play with people on your level/know what you are doing. Either way they all usually do a great job at pushing their abominations around the track wich makes for really entertaining races to watch. Even in regular races or other situations its just awesome to see them side by side tryng to reach the pole (or best possition available).
I mean the lack of a ninetails in this challenge is on one hand surprising, but on the other reasonable because said ninetails would dominate the whole session 😂

Id keep the weight and soften suspension to Rally or nearly Offroad level of softness for traction, since relatively low pace - that would help with general feel of losing traction. Alternative would be FWD with fully opened diff. Yes 1 wheel spin bonanza through all 5 laps but youd keep the line - which would equal speed overall so easier drive and constant acceleration without understeer, on straights you'd pick up obviously even more speed. Good video and idea for race. 👌👍

I came here right away before getting past the 0:53 mark. I was like... what is a seh-lee-kuh???? Then the grid popped up and I was like OHHHHH, seh-LI-kuh!! I have been living in europe for 15+ years and that is the first time I have ever heard it pronounced like that.

I think fwd, or rwd with a mid/ rear engine would do best for this. Those would at least provide a lot of weight to the powered wheels.

I have a tip to help people get better at racing games that I discovered playing old school racing games. Ones that required you to win to progress. Race the track, not the other cars. If you focus on making your braking and turns perfect and not focus on beating the other cars you will do better in the race.
I'm a huge fan of racing and racing games but I'm fucking dogwater at them. lol I never thought of racing like that before, thanks for the tip!
That requires actual racecraft, which is not something many people are willing to invest research and practice into, unfortunately.
Great advice, I'm more of a time attacker in racing games as well. Once you get into the rhythm you'll keep thinking "maybe I can go faster next lap" and you'll never stop lapping lol
this used to be meta in fh3 adventures, whilst everyone was trudging along with 150hp i was flying with a 1000hp awd chevelle
See high power fwd or front bias AWD works very well in low classes.
I had a B class AWD renault 5 turbo with a V8 racing engine in it. that thing was an absolute rocketship, down the straights it was like another class and you could scandi flick it through the corners with some speed, most of the time
This just reminds me of forza motorsport 4, when rhyss would rock up with an uber powerful datsun 510 in vs the community. Rubbish in corners but could not keep up on the straights 😂😂
Ha, that's my c class rival car. Top 1% gear it for 3 or 4 speed, much easier to drive ;)

The connection issues, weird glitches, buggy checkpoints, random disconnections, disappearing cars, incredibly cheaty drivatars and the like have caused me to have to take a break from FH5 and go back to FH4 for the time being.
There's a lot of issues.

I think you can launch control on this game if you go down to reverse and then up to gear one again and hold brake then accelerate. Show it on a short. Too broke to try it myself
In dirt rally 2 you just drive and launch control works automatically with no fuss. Came out 2019

Me and my mates arnt sure its a JZ, we think its an RB bored out to a 3.0 like what came in the R33 GTLM. It has a very similar sound to the RB.
@@GS300Aaron easy to check. See how much power the Skyline has stock, and compare it to how much the engine swap has power. If they match hp and torque, you've got it. If not, it's not it. As far as I know, it's a 2JZ from a drift car.
Maybe someone should explain to Alex that he can use his handbrake sometimes?
It's difficult to use effectively because your rear wheels going from stopped to applying so much power is not an easy transition
