That path in the wall is for Captain Toad. I believe the pipe to get to him is in world 1 in the top left corner of the area where the Koopa Roller skating level is. There are at least 2 more Captain Toad pipes in world 4 as well so if I'm wrong about the world 1 pipe leading there, surely one of the others in world 4 will be it.
I felt so cheated on the special world entrance. I played every level at least twice, looking for secret exits. Turns out, you just have to enter the castle a second time. 😂. Oh yeah, you enter that little secret area from another world, so just continue playing. I’m sure you’ll find it (also, I can’t remember if it’s in World 4 or 5).

The thing behind the falls is captain toad. Im pretty sure the entrance is in world 4. Im sorry if i spoiled it.

Captain toad is on there. Can't tell you how to get there though, but it isn't from this world
the area behind the cliff is another captain toad, you can get to him from world 4

18:30 you get there from another world. It's just a little easer egg secret, nothing required for completion
You can get inside the wall from world 4 in a little hidden nook, there are 3 hidden sections in world 1 and 3 in world 4.
Captain toad is back there. It’s like the cave secret pipe.
