RIGHT? Gorgeous voice. I don't need the lyrics to understand how painful this song must be; the way he sings it conveys the intensity of his emotion prefectly
Even Kyo from Dir en Grey was heavily influenced by his own favorite bands. Since Sadie is reletively young compared to Dir en Grey it is understandable that Mao would get influence from the veteran band. Rumor has it that Mao even toured with them as a roadie in his youger days just as Kyo did when he was young. All J rock bands really find their individual sounds as they get older, just give these guys a chance to get there, I think they're really close. Even so the music video is NOTHING compared to a Dir en grey video, and the movements between verses/the screaming bits are not very similar either.
everyone says that this particular song and their album madrigal de maria is a ripoff of DEG but i dont think so..listen to sadie's uso ni mamireta shinzitsuno soko its a great song..
@@mainakmaiti1534 Oh I have. I have it memorized 😂 A lot of people say that one is a rip off of Diru's Ware, Yami Tote. And playing the choruses over each other, I can hear it. But look at the LYRICS. To me, Uso ni mamireta actually sounds like a response to Ware Yami Tote. Which makes it like- twice as sad.
For everyone saying they sound like Dir En Grey, or are just like them, or comparing them in any way, always keep in mind that for any musician/band to come into their own sound, they first must realize their influences and learn how to create music out of that influence; with that, soon enough, they will all come into their own distinct sound that people will then start comparing other new bands to.
1. Dir en Grey is their biggest influence, Kyo even taught Mao how to sing when he was their roadie. 2. They did have their own original sound, but now that was before went major, They been around sense 2006, everything before 2010 is my favorite to be honest. 3. Finally someone points this shit out!
Of course. The point about "coming into a sound" was a more general thing, not directed here. I'm just get a bit annoyed when people comment on a band's "originality"; no one commented on your originality when you were a baby learning how to speak by directly imitating every single sound you heard until you learned how to make your own sentence. Having an "original sound" isn't something that just happens overnight--and, just getting into this band recently, I think they're doing a hell of a job expressing themselves!
I'm not really hearing a huge similarity to Dir en Grey. Yeah the vocal's have a Dir en Grey feel but the BGM has a different sound. Maybe it's just me. Eh.
I think vocally, there are some similarities to Kyo. I can't compare anything else to Dir En Grey. Maybe they resemble a bit of the older Dir En Grey. Dir En Grey at present is an almost entirely different entity than it used to be. Their music grew differently from their past work, and they don't even promote the Visual Kei appearance any longer.
This songs gives off the vibe of older style American rock, along with the J-rock style. I think it's cool how it has a retro yet modern sound and I hope they keep making good music like this!
Most of their songs don't even sound like Dir en grey. I love how they make one song that sounds more similar and suddenly they're deemed a copy band. Sadie is an exceptional group. Hands down.
P.S. Can ANYONE link me to the English lyrics for this song? Since Madrigal de Maria came out, we've slowly been getting translations *10/10 cry everytime* but I haven't found the one for Madara.
I love sadie, this song is beautiful and although I always compare them with DIRU, for me they have their own sound and essence, and I like them for what they are. They admire DIR EN GREY, but, who does not?
Come on guys... progress is necessary and that is Sadie as they developed songs they admired from Diru and make it into awesome art... this is much better...
At certain moments of this song (and a few others), they sound like what Cradle of Filth probablly would sound like if they were Japanese. Which is pretty awesome!
The rest of their songs don't sound like Diru, so I consider this as a tribute song of sorts. Take it as a compliment, it means Sadie looks up to Diru :P. Either way, I really like this song.
00:53 I don't know anything about them but I'm impressed with that voice. Not to be racist(which in one way or another, somehow I am) but what is the gender of that vocalist? How do they get their voice to do that. I'm sorry, I just get the feeling that it's really difficult, no matter what gender I guess, and it's intrigued my interest. I don't know anything on that kind of singing. But anyway, COOL (yeah yeah, sparkly eyes, I'm like that. But that's basically my attitude. And yes, I'm being a weirdo I guess so no need to read this comment, though I guess it's a lil late for that.)
Yeah! They have changed a ton. Definitely some huge DeG influence. The arrangement is a bit like Different Sense. But all the part in this song that didn't sound like Dir en Grey were actually my favorite. They had some really unique ideas. I just wish it was more of THEM and less imitation. Because I think this band is special - they just need to tap into it.
Was feeling nostalgic and decided to watch this. It's too bad Sadie didn't do more songs like this throughout their career.
They touring next year!!
@@Shimainuu That's great 😃
Well I'm listening to this still now in quarantine lmaooo
this song is a masterpiece.
I'm 100% thankful for all japanese metal bands
When he starts singing it goes right through me I love it!!
RIGHT? Gorgeous voice. I don't need the lyrics to understand how painful this song must be; the way he sings it conveys the intensity of his emotion prefectly

@@TTALeapMonster have u heard dir en grey's yokan?oh man oh man its classic!!
Its a mixture of obscure and audience killer loop in the begining, good stuff, its like dir en grey had a baby and named it sadie
One of the most unique v-kei songs, IMO. So nostalgic listening to this!
The piano parts are amazing ♡.♡

LOVE the piano playing
My favorite cover band ever
Ahaha xDDDDD
What u say nigga?
Too much weed?
nah.. they used to be cover band.. that cant be denied, but now they are already a band.. 😂😂
Mao sounds like Pre-Vulgar Kyo, before he mixed his voice and started singing into the 5th octave so frequently
It's been 1 years since i listen to this for the last time, thank you TH-cam recommendation
Old school visual kei ❤️
great song, amazing band - can't wait for the new album!
Amazing 💙💙💙
I love this song3 repeat all day
Adorei a música!! *--*
I LOVE THIS
I LOVE HIS VOICE IN THE BEGINING!!!!!

Kyo taught Mao how to sing so of course they'd sing similarly. But they two do not sound identical to me.
my favorite songs :)
It may sound like Diru but still great song... Cant stop listening since I found it by chance...
My Favorite Song!!
ofc Diru are a big influence, they say so themselves.
Sadie are amazing, one of my favorites

It's hard enough for singers to scream isn't it? To sing that pitch so soft and calmly, cool cool cool cool!
:O I like this... a lot...

We still here in 2023!!!!!
Alot of the movements, camera angles, and lighting just scream saku by dir en grey
Sweet
The chorus reminds me of Audience Killer Loop quite a bit.
I love Aki he is so cool XD ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
The short piano melody at the beginning sounds outstanding.
P.S. Can ANYONE link me to the English lyrics for this song? Since Madrigal de Maria came out, we've slowly been getting translations *10/10 cry everytime* but I haven't found the one for Madara.
boa música
I love sadie, this song is beautiful and although I always compare them with DIRU, for me they have their own sound and essence, and I like them for what they are. They admire DIR EN GREY, but, who does not?
