Yes. Same happened me at the age of 11. That was in year 1983.
First I lost Rs 5, which was a big amount that time.
To get back that Rs 5 I again tried with one more 5 rs note and again lost that.
Maine agai again se 5 Rs pe khela aur haar gaya.
I stopped not bcz I learned a lesson but I didn't have any single paise with me to invest again😂😂
It is almost 41 yrs. But still today at the age of 52 , I remember that day, it was a Saturday aur Bazaar lagta tha.
Garibi mein aata gila. One of my friends from my area saw me aur kaha ki yeh jua hai aur for many days he kept blackmailing ki tere family ko bata dunga, school mein bata dunga.

I was a victim of this game. I was hardly 13 years old then. We (my dad, brother and myself) saw a man doing this trick at a very popular tourist attraction in Manali. It was back in 2004/5. Entry fee was 500/- and we gave us bait of tripling the amount. We played once, lost. Tried again and again lost. Furious over the defeat we thought we would make it even. Tried third time and as you mentioned lost again. It was that time we just decided the leave. However, one thing to note here. The guy who was doing this even he was surprised because in those old days 1500/- was a huge amount and he never faced a client who played thrice. So he thought we were very rich. This was our only happy moment. 😂
