Oooh, nice! I recently finished S1 of Douluo Continent & loved it. ❤️ I love how Tang San is even a bit similar to Wei Wuxian... except instead of slowly losing allies/everyone he loves he ends up collecting new found family members everywhere like a magnet. 😆

@ apparently they kept some scenes already filmed for S2, and considering the records it's breacking day after day since the airing, I highly doubt that they wouldn't do it! :P

Hmm, then I will watch it in the sunny summertime :D The Fights Break Sphere: just slipped at the bottom of my list. Thanks for the info, time is limited, so selecting and prioritizing is important ;) I am currently watching too many things at once (airing weekly and shorter episodes, but still..) Joy of Life: we'll see about it; a 2nd season with XZ in it would definitely help :D But Doulou Continent is a must see in my next holiday

It's when that new controversy arose that I learnt about it, since it's the same producer, so ppl were saying things like "if we let it pass again, what's next?". I was disappointed too since I love both that drama and specifically Yan Bingyun, but indeed, if we accept that they could cut about a third of his work after they've used his popularity to get investors, what else would they be willing to do with impunity?!? And since his time is already stretched thin as it is with A Dream Like A Dream plus The Longest Promise plus all the advertisements shootings and what else, well, it's better for him and us that he works with producers that will respect him, his work, and us as fans! And that producer did neither of the 3, so... Ditch! At least we heard that S2 of Douluo Continent is in the process of getting scheduled and all, so that's cool! And crossing fingers that Tencent can finally release Oath of Love now that they're rumored to have been able to buy back the diffusion rights! As long as that rumor is true ofc...
I only watched the Untamed. Do you recommend the others? I mean, outside of the actor, do they have a good plot? Are the characters good like Wei Wuxian?

I can recommend the Fights Break Sphere, it's a quite good show (though Xiao Zhan's character isn't on screen for too long...:( But you can watch other good looking chinese actors XDDD). The Wolf is also good but full of angst (his character is the BEST!). The Duolou Continent is a great show, but it's a lot different from the books - well, I loved it. The Oh! My Emperor... just don't talk about it. I have no life and I only watched it for Xiao Zhan. His character is great, but it's better if I don't say anything about the show XD
@ OMG so funny, I recognized myself in your behavior... :P Though personaly, the main lead of Fights Break Sphere gets on my nerves, so I watched the episodes without XZ in fast forward mode... Same as I did for the entire Oh my Emperor, I slided directly to the parts he was in. I also watched Super Star Academy where he was also the lead amoung a cast of mostly X-NINE members. Ji Chong is an amazing character, but since the end is too bitter sweet for my taste, even if the angst is less than in the Untamed, I don't know if I'll watch it again, though I'm happy to have watched in once, and I enjoyed the ride! I'm still following the premiere of Douluo Continent on YT every night, and I'll most prolly rewatch it as soon as it's done as it's very good, even though it doesn't win over the Untamed for me! Tang San is nonetheless Xiao Zhan favorite character according to an interview he did some time ago, and I understand since it's a very good char, it's just that his arc is not as spectacular as WWX's...

Oh well, I've recognized during editing the video that not only the Fights Break Sphere but Oh! My Emperor also has X-Nine cast XDDD (It's my own blindness...) Do you recommend Super Star Academy? :D There's nobody in the entire Universe can be as spectacular as WWX. But I still love Tang San. And Ji Chong! Ji Chong forever!
@ well, SSA is better imo than Oh My Emperor, mainly coz the female lead is definitely not as annoying as the other one... And I like the 2nd male lead (Bai Shu) better too. It's kinda funny coz it's in a modern fantasy setting, yet again with the zodiac thingy, but this time XZ is the equivalent of the Emperor. It was the very 1st drama of X-NINE, so it's interesting to see their evolution (he's already a pretty good actor!). As a XZ fan it's nice to see his debut, like I watched the entire X-FIRE even without English subtitles, just for fun...

His values, moral quality and inner strenght are so exceptionnal, the world needs more ppl like him!!! @ well, it was a collab of fans to support him in the current situation, a Christmas gift apparently. The originial lyrics, music, video editing, singing, they all chose pros in their field! Nothing amateur, you certainly don't have to be ashamed! I have yet to decipher the true meaning of the lyrics, coz I only found an image of them, and using the camera fonction of google translate is really not convincing with the subtleties of Chinese... but apparently it was related to all of his dramas, each time to encourage him and show support from the fandom. The "modern" images are all from adds as ambassador of various brands. I think it sums up how strong he was prior to the storm, and he's like a pheonix, rebord even stronger in 2021!

I can recommend the Fights Break Sphere, it's a quite good show (though Xiao Zhan's character isn't on screen for too long...:( But you can watch other good looking chinese actors XDDD).
