Sometimes I just have to revisit this for the mastery of her acting. It’s the most moving version I’ve ever seen of this song. Would love to see her do it live.
i have been coming back to this since I discovered it a couple of weeks ago and I have also listened to the other versions but there’s just something about the way donna murphy sings this that resonates with me to the point that listening to her brings me to tears
TH-cam needs to take a few pointers from Facebook....there needs to be a "love" icon to click, because a thumbs up does not do justice to how much I love hearing Donna sing this song....

I’ve heard so many versions of this song, and this is honestly the best. How I hadn’t found it until now baffles me. Donna is outstanding.
To me, this is the definitive version. I had heard this song four million times and had gotten fairly tired of it, until I saw Murphy. Wow.
