- Sermon on the Mount E28 - In his third teaching on money, Jesus issues a warning about elevating wealth to the position of God in our lives. To describe wealth, Jesus uses the word “mammon,” which can be translated as “the thing in which you trust.” What happens when we put our trust in our wealth? And what can it look like to be free from the love of money? In this episode, Tim and Jon and special guests explore the power we give our possessions and the upside-down wisdom that sharing, not hoarding, gives us the security we’re seeking.

I listen to the podcast every Monday morning at work, and the story of the woman with the chicken brought me to tears, Lord may I be more like you in everything I do
This subject was a time of reflection. As a "Manager" promoting others who weren't on anyone else's radar, fighting for shift differentials and pay raises, allowing others to work extra to pay off debts and their children's debts has blessed 🙌🏽 me. God sees! No man took care of me, but Father provided and still does. I'm grateful. ❤TY Father.
Veronica from Uganda, may yout story resonate in our hearts so we also can give generously.

Thank you!❤
Really like this format of combining the conversation with other resources!
What I got from this is that the more we share our goods poverty will decrease and soon be eliminated. I mean like he said we are in our richest times then ever and there are still poor people? We can do better. Let’s do better!
Excited for this one. Reminds me of one of the way earlier episodes where Jon went and interviewed these two guys about money and how to honor Good faithfully with wealth.
