I sometimes watch my video again and I ask myself a question... Did I make that? Can I make it again? I can't answer for sure. There are many mistakes here and there, but if I were told to make that desk with the poor tools featured in this video, I would not try. In fact, I am not confident to remake that. At the time of making that, I thought I myself lacked a lot of skills. Now I think the man in this video seems a little crazy. Thanks for the good comment. Good luck.

Awesome job, it is beautiful. The only advice I would give is to make the draw face the other way like the side piece, that way it would act more like a dovetail and not pull apart when you open the draw.
Mounting a circular saw like that to a piece of 3/4" plywood that I supported on sawhorses was my first type of "table saw". I used a piece of 2" angle iron with C-clamps as a fence. Eventually, I stumbled across a good deal on an old Craftsman 10" table saw with a large cast iron table and it was even better for the shop, but was not as portable as circular saw makeshift "table saw".
I understand what you mean. My circular saw has 7 inch blade. I made my temporary table saw only for this desk. This circular saw is a very cheap model. I wanted to show people that a very good cut can be made with a cheap circular saw. Thank you very much for watching and good feedback.
@@mokongtv123 -- Yeah, there are some limitations when only using a 7" blade for a makeshift "table saw" like you did in this video. You lose a bit of capacity with respect to depth of cut, but for 90 degree blade angles, it is not that bad for most of the cuts that you might need to do. With a 10" blade and the appropriate jig, you can make the cuts for the grooves in the end of the legs pretty easily. I've heard that joint called a "castle joint" or even a "double bridle joint". Hi, Giuliano. I haven't thought about the corner blocks. As you know, I don't like to add anything unnecessary. They were strongly fixed to one another. As for center rails, my desk drawer is thin and it moves smoothly. This desk is made much better than I originally planned. I was lucky. Thank you very much, as always. Happy new year, too.

Are you sure he's using red pine? Apparently, he is in South Korea and red pine is mostly in the northeast of the US. South Korea does import a lot of wood from other countries though. Supposedly, Canada is a major exporter of wood to South Korea.

how did you make the hole on the table for the blade of your circular saw? I assume it's by drilling a hole and tracing a line with your jig saw?
