I'm in my 70s too but wasn't allowed to date but busy with finding employment to help my family and not until I was 21 when I started to date but then things were different, and the callousness of some guys were apparent. Nothing that was projected in the music was expressed unless they were decent guys.
I'm not a crybaby, but this sound... This beautiful sound... is SOOOOO BADLY missing in th music of the last 10/15 years...esoecially the last 5 years. This has me so emotional and nostalgic for beautiful music. It's like the powers that be want us depressed and despondent.
When people ask me why they keep singing songs of long ago from a different time periods. Songs of those periods were beautiful and were expressed "with so much "feelings." That is why the songs are sung time and time again. I am glad I came from those times where "MUSIC" was the UNIVERSAL Method of COMMUNICATION between human beings during that time and throughout the world history too.

Absolutely!! I do think their renditions are frequently better than the originals. So many unexpected twists and turns in the arrangements, key changes, etc. etc. 🥰🥰
My heart literally just melted, my parents always told me I was born in the wrong generation so happy I found this group that is bringing this kind of music back

I’m 48 so I wasnt around in the 50s or 60s but my dad listened to the originals so I grew up listening to these songs. They did all these covers justice and I give them two thumbs up. 👍👍
Just ignore the haters -- I would like to see what they can produce. I recently discovered these guys, and I am solidly impressed, not only by their vocals, but by their smooth and professional showmanship. They come up with unique takes on old standards, with a great balance of freshness and respect for the original versions and the compositions themselves.

Reminds me of when my late grandfather introduced me to this style of music since that was what he had when he was younger. Wish I could get my own group off of the ground.
