People in general look into things too much when an upset is caused as it so unexpected (especially this fight) that they are confused.People refuse to look at the basics which are aj overlooked ruiz due to a number of factors especially it being a last minute change around. Ruiz had already been in camp for the last 6-8 weeks for Dimitrenko prior to the 5-6 week training camp for the AJ. Dimitrenko is that same build roughly as AJ but obviously no where the skill set. Credit to Ruiz he boxed both fights in very similar fashion and hes very awkward for his size especially as he has good defense. Joshua spent to 2 rounds trying to suss him out in the 3rd round he landed that combination to drop ruiz but he didnt study ruiz well enough leading up to the fight, he underestimated his chin, to fight 110+ fights in the amateurs (albeit prob alot of bums) and 32 fights in pro and to never of been dropped that means you have a serious chin, he should of watched the parker fight properly to see that Ruiz plays possum sometimes, pretending to be hurt more than he actually to draw opponents in within reach to land those combos with speed. Aj would have to work on his jab to beat ruiz cause its no where near the ability of lennox lewis (no he could jab all day, almost jabbed mike tysons face into his skull) i dont know who wins the rematch but judging by the first fight id say Ruiz as he showed me hes has a solid chin, took some nasty hooks and strights from Aj in the 2nd, 3rd and 6th but stood firm, lets just hope its a good fight, dont usually watch fights more than once but ive probably played that first 1 over 20 times.
