And with this, the season 14 comes to an end! What a way to finish it off with the great Faisal Kapadia (of Strings fame). You need to TH-cam strings band. They sang a few Bollywood songs too such as Yeh Hai Meri Kahani, Aakhri Alvida, Spider-Man ost, etc. Faisal and Bilal innovated Pakistani music with their talent from 1988-2021. They disbanded last year much to fans’ dismay but their voices are like fine wine.. they only get better with time. Both Faisal and Bilal also spearheaded Coke Studios few seasons btw from Season 7-10. Check out their awesome songs like Sir Kiye Ye Pahar (studio and live versions are awesome), Duur, Anjane, Ankhain, chaaye chaaye, mera bichra yaar, Dhaani, Pyar ka Rog from Velo Station, etc. They are legends!! You have seen Talha Anjum (shorter height rapper) in the Coke Studio song Ye Dunya with Karakoram band (the iconic scream at the end song). So this is why I think his part was shorter in it. The taller rapper sang more. But for me, Faisal Kapdia of Strings stole the show with his vocals. I missed his band mate Bilal just so much… wish he would have been a part of this incredible season too. On that note, thank you for reacting to this beautiful season. Faisal's band Strings was one of the biggest pop acts in South Asia so for us millenials his voice is extremely nostalgic which was perfect for this parting song. Phir Milenge (till we meet again) is pronounced fir mi-len-ge (with the n being a nasal n as in bonjour). I have a feeling Thagyan was your fave from this season...?
