I made a simple king pin puller with b7 allthread and 2- 2" thick steel blocks. Looks similar to the OTC tool.
B7 alltread, 5/8" diameter has something like 30K lbs tensile strength. Used with a short porta power press, it works great. Didn't cost much to make. The 2" steel blocks were in a scrap bin, at the local steel supply yard.

En México hay buenos mecánicos que no golpean la rosca de los tornillos, golpean el otro fierro hasta que caiga el tornillo solito por gravedad.
