Thats basicly my dream build right there,3door rs3 exterior, man even got wider rear arches and the wingbacks, 550-600 bhp and a manual, and yes at this point i get the argument of getting a dsg. At this level of power you can see the manual can barely keep up with the power, My ideal hatch is a 3 door with manual but yes that dq500 is definitely needed when he goes 5 pot, even now it would be a world of difference. Best build so far.And the lag seems okay for beeing a gtx30 turbo, G series would spool up a bit faster giving a bit more usable rev range but still, it goes so fast trough the gears that it is not needed to get more low down power.Absolutely love it.👍👍👍

Awesome build car! Single flywheel and manual gearbox without fluid damper may work but as soon as you convert to DSG the fluid damper will be necessary, else the oil pump chain can rip apart. The stronger chain drive from the 1.8T could be an option. Which ECU you are using and which additonal sensors have been installed (exhaust temp/pressure, oil pressure)? Like somebody mentioned in the comments I`d convert it to a VR6 Turbo, too. Propably a more reliable tune with a better power to cost ratio + the SOUND! Thanks for the comment i really appreciate it. Its a custom billet race tfsi oil pump with baffle sump so its much much stronger than the 1.8t pump as the 1.8t pumps are horrible. Yes the vr6 is a monster build but IMO its very old and the lazy iron block its just not what i like the 2.5 alluminuim are newer and millions more sophisticated. But each to there own but yes cost to power the vr6/ r30 3.2 build is a much cheaper option. But thanks for comment and hope you are cruising with joy in germany 🇩🇪.

That is a very nice car, and awesome result from the engine tune/build, really impressive the amount of work that has gone into it. Must have cost a fortune. Makes me think how good the B58 engine is though, as it will do 650 to 700 bhp with just bolt on's, unopened block.

What's the best fuel? I run on Esso 99 because in most of England it has no bio-ethanol even though it says E5. Apparently adding bio-ethanol reduces emissions and reliance on Arab states for fuel. The negative is it's much worse for performance.
