Kanja: JKIA is a no-go zone for protests

Acting Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja has warned protestors against breaching designated protected areas. Kanja says the Kenya Defence Forces has been deployed to the protected areas to boost police efforts in protecting the said areas.Anti-government protestors had threatened to breach security and occupy the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Kanja has however reiterated the commitment of the National Police Service in protecting the rights of peaceful protestors.
