I really like this movie I found it on Tubi and was immediately interested when I saw Bill Murray Co-directed it. Bill Murray, Gena Davis, and especially Randy Quaid give great performances. It's a real underrated gem that deserves more attention.
great podcast. Fun Fact: The construction scene where the lady yells at them to quiet down. was filmed on my block. all my neighbors were crowded round the filming of it. P.S. its been released on blu-ray
I ADORE this movie!!! It's like a mix After Hours and The Out of Towners!! I really think it's Bill Murray's best performance!! Another similar film that would be perfect for an episode of this would be Disorganized Crime (1989) It's a bank robbing comedy as well with the late Fred Gwynne and it's quite the adventure as you could imagine!
Bill Murray and New York City. It's like two personalities that work so well together, even though he is a Chicago guy. Idk why, he embodies the city. Also, I love the graphic title card you've got now. Keep it coming!
The Mexican jousting scene is one of the funniest but also most bittersweet scenes ever filmed in any movie ever made. This film is as close as a film can get to a cult classic while still being an Almost Cult Classic.
Two of my favorite unsung movies of this time, Quick Change and Hot To Trot. I know they’re about 2 years apart but I had them on the same VHS. Great see some shared appreciation for this classic caper.
Quick Change is criminally underrated (As a film it’s close to perfect) Seen this film when i was 11 or so loved it the first time i seen it it’s been horribly market on home video from day one (The VHS. Laserdisc, dvd have all had the horrible artwork) The laserdisc actually took advantage of the space the artwork on the back is really nice though! Hopefully at some point a mom & pop distributors will get the rights and put out a proper home video version it deserves a Collectors edition blu-ray
I love this movie and I generally enjoy “all in one night” movies a lot. My favorite one of them being Miracle Mile which is one I’d like to hear you guys do.
Really funny book too, by Jay Cronley. Cronley also wrote the novels Funny Farm (made into the movie with Chevy Chase) and Good Vibes (made into the tragically-under appreciated Let It Ride with Richard Dreyfuss), both good candidates for your videos.

I own that movie on vhs with that same exact cover. Probably one of my favourite with Bill Murray.
Friggin' love this movie. Hard to find now too
This is my favorite movie of all ❤️

Please talk about Loose Cannons (1990) and Coneheads.
Just beautiful guys, thank you, thank you, thank you!
3 weeks, and yet like a fool, I still check just about every day.

Loved this movie growing up.
Great show guys. May I suggest Disorganized Crime?

I always watched this film on Channel 5 in the UK.
God I loved this movie; got one of my favorite quotes from it (“Oh my God, this is a f***ing nightmare😸😸😸”).

I was entertained by this movie.
The one word i still remember from the bus scene is blufftoni.

I like the new title card. Very nice and nostalgic.

Ryan: You're never gonna meet these people! You don't know them!
Joe: . . . I know Bill Murray
I love this movie
I really enjoyed The Big Year, the Extended cut is better than the Theatrical version.
You should def do an episode on Handmade Films.
Excellent movie.
I'm going to go ahead and pretend he did the Seinfeld impression due directly to my last input, and nothing will convince me otherwise.
I liked Golden Child,it’s of great stuff in that film. Pluto Nash, not so much.
Inside Man I remember being very good
Handmade make lovely films.
The most intelligent bank robbery ever put to screen 💰 #howto
almost cult classics, only podcast recorded on reel to reel tape machines!

They didn't get away with it. They were arrested and convicted of bank robbery at the airport they arrived at. One phone call.
Did anyone else notice the 9/11 symbolism throughout the film 🎥✈🏢🏢🗽
