I like that observation po 🥺 He’s truly an artist, and a brave one at that. He’s not afraid to risk credibility in favor of expressing himself.
FELIP is a true artist. He does not make music for people to like him or that everyone will like - he makes music to express his soul. Only an artist will be brave enough to fight the current in favor of his expression. Magustuhan man ng iba o hindi, ang mahalaga sa kan’ya ay nasabi (or nakanta) niya ang gusto niyang iparating.
I used to only follow idols who will take the safest routes to keep the tides in their favor, scared to lose the credibility that they had to earn, though naiintindihan ko naman. Kaya napaka-refreshing to realize na I’m finally supporting an artist, one who understands the risk of what he’s doing but still does it anyway because he has a passion for music and a desire to express.
Say or think what you will about FELIP and his music. I just know he’s no longer going to be held back by stray dogs’ senseless barking - and I will no longer be held back by other people’s opinions about how they think music “should” sound like. Y’all are probably just too cooped up in your narrow minds, and why should I care about that anymore?
Basta ang mga sisiw at kaming mga FELIP fans, suporta lang like we always have dahil hinding-hindi mo inaasahan ang mga lapag ni amo. Laging bago. Laging kakaiba. Lagi kaming nasusorpresa at lalong nabibilib sa kung ano pa’ng kaya niyang gawin.

Casuals now know who ken/Felup Suson is. Jaw drop! Completely different musicality from the SB 19 Ken. Love it or hate it. This is who he is as a solo artist and as a musician. BRAVE to put out his music which most A'TIN doesnt necessarily like and some is asking him even to leave the group but I loved his uniqueness, his talent, his voice and attitude towards his passion. Do what you love Ken. Mahal ka namin unconditionally!

It’s almost the highlight of the night. Felip the alter ego of Ken always pushing the boundary. He’s very brave to do this as I feel like Philippines is NOT ready for this kind of genre. They say Ken has more men bashers than women. It’s simply because they wish they have the same ego to perform such thing. Ken is bringing Philippines what Westeners are experiencing with most highly paid artists in the US. It’s breathtaking and he’s not afraid to do this.
