Delareyville community without water

The community of Delareyville in the North West has been without water for four weeks. The water supply had been temporarily restored after residents of the small town had embarked on service delivery protests in October. The local authority is aware of the problem and says water pipes had been incorrectly installed in the area. They say that fresh water, meant for the community, has been redirected to a nearby salt pan instead of the designated reservoir.
