i can't think of a movie where a character rapes, gets away with it, and is portrayed as a likeable character at the same time. I can't see any movie writer ever putting that in a movie and not thinking for a second that it would 1. Put off the audience 2. Be counter-productive to making the character likeable in the first place. Rape, in movies is like being mean to a child or an old woman. It's probably the most effective trick to incent hate towards a character and set the audience against him. Everyone except mentally ill people hate rapists. Going that route and you won't be able to have bad characters at all in movies.

However I think in many cases whether it be through total ignorance or stupidity some "private citizens" don't realise that there could be potential backlash of what they're saying (Whether this be via social media, hate emails or something of that nature). So my question would be, where does the responsibility fall, should private citizens be expected to understand this before they write a potentially idiotic comment, should the person of influence, in this case trump, have some responsibility to be aware that what he is saying and the manner in which he interacts with these people could be potentially harmful, or does twitter(or any other platform) have some degree of responsibility to protect its users from their own idiocy? I wouldn't say that the FBI is either biased for/against a specific candidate, there is always the chance that someone high in rank thought it would look bad for america overall if either of those things were confirmed so supressed them regardless of which side of politics the candidate lay.

Probably the most disturbing movie I ever seen is Gaspar Noé's IRREVERSIBLE. Maybe there is a few people, probably psychological/physical victims of bad past experience or just genetic illness, who were inspired to rape after seeing that movie.
