Not gonna lie laws moveset is pretty broken if you know how to use them effectively and ninjakilla execution of it is kinda like it’s never the other players turn ultimately making law one of the most annoying characters to deal with but you must know how to use them effectively and ninja quite literally crushes ppl
Yeh watching these matches and playing against ninja a few times my takeaway is "dude this character is always plus into dangerous frame traps." You're just locked down forever unless you manage to duck and punish something. But Law has so many good mids it's hell to find a duck timing. And in heat his nunchuck and heatsmash are TOO perfect for his kit that you can't really ever duck, step, or press outta turn (and it's always his turn) from the threat of them just killing you. The character is smothering.
Laws strengths is that any 8-10 frame punishes or pokes can turn into a combo. Part of the philosophy of Jeet Kune Do (yes the martial arts that Law uses because he is an embodiment of Bruce Lee) is that your punches and kicks are like jabs. Once you establish that you can actually watch your opponent and just counter or hard read since Laws moveset is semi easy.
hard to beat a character like law with just mid mid mid mid and more mid attacks like hwoarang. The guy doesnt have a single good low attack and he does taekowndo
Nah it’s not the character, it’s really just NK with this character. He’s difficult to deal with because not only is he high speed very quick on his feet but also high pressure + accuracy in decisions. If Law’s moveset was really broken we would see more newcomers not only playing Law but ALSO qualifying top 16 in tournament. Instead we see mostly the same character loyalists at high level
That ninja's special heat dash combo is hard to do, but when he dropped that combo he lost that match. I mean when you play at tournaments you need to choose the consistent and safe combos because of the pressure at the tournament. That's why double only does consistent and safe combos.
Bruh it ain’t that deep, he’s been playing in tournaments for years. Sometimes you just drop, even with basic combos it can happen. The way you was talking i thought it was 5-4 speekicks.
@@ricardo_islam314 I mean he will drop more in tournaments if he still does that hard combo. I just watched knee vs nobi matches in TWT2024 and both of them dropped basic combos in the last around. My point is lots of ninja fanboys only look at his "optimal" combos, but that's not the reason why they think ninja is better than other laws.
Looks like NK optimizes his combos to do whatever it takes to get his opponent to the wall no matter what in order to get his max damage. If he's not close enough and the combo is going to drop prematurely, he pops the heat engager to extend it, then he gets all his wall damage. What he's doing might eventually be the meta for this game.
@@UltimateBallaPOM Most people still play T8 like it's T7. What i see from most players are mostly strings and onesy twosy stray hits until they can land a combo. I've not seen anybody actually optimize their combos to wall carry for max damage like Ninjakilla.

Fight with NK makes you learn a whole new level. I believe soon or later, the standard what we called of “high levels” we’ve known these time will be different, above than before. And the show will be much better to watch. The world of tekken’s community should be thank to NK at the end. I know it sound like too much.. but, have you seen other players wins the battles at least 4-0 streak consistantly like him? Remember speedK is one of respected high pro player in T8’s world. Yeah paul glaciating can still win over NK. And of course Lidia.. but lidia is a broken or BS char. And glaciating is another genius we cant find like other
i think NA will thank Ninjakilla. Because he seems like he's on that level of international players. So he will help NA players reach that level i feel. We got players like Glaciating to reach that level as well, but he plays extremely different from an NA player
@@PyroInferno110 Yup. I personally feel like NK will raise the USA's ceiling and make everyone else rise to the level of competition. I think the USA will catch up to the level of Pakistan and Korea soon, the same way the USA finally caught up to Japan and the Middle East in the past EVO in SF.

@ yea and he has great counter hit setups as well so you can’t really spam against him either

A way to build consistency is actually doing something over and over again. This is good way for him to practice it during a match.
@@ABxxmin No, trust me you will drop it when the pressure is there. You can drop the simplest combo in tournament.
Im pretty sure a top 0.01% professional tournament veteran doesnt need your advice on how to play in tournaments my guy.

It literally already is the meta of the game.
