This movie with its budget of 7 million dollars beat out The Departed and it's budget of 250 million dollars to several Oscars.
Talk about the little guy punching up.
So god damn heart warming in every way!

Your comment totally reminds me of when Star wars came out in 1977. I used to love dukes of Hazzard as a 7-year-old and I kept seeing ads for a new movie coming out called Outlaw Blues that I thought would be kind of like dukes of Hazzard.
My dad took me to the theater and said that we should really watch this movie that everybody's been talking about called Star wars. I hadn't heard of it yet and wasn't into science fiction yet either. I really wanted to see Outlaw Blues! He promised me that if we watch Star wars that I would love it so I went ahead and watched it with him. What an experience! It's hard for me to imagine me not seeing the first three movies on the big screen as a kid and then a teenager.

Fun story that Paul Dano told Jimmy Fallon was that the directors made the actors go out on a little trip for the day in character before filming. Alan Arkin said he had to use the restroom and Greg Kiennear kept ignoring him so Alan said he was going to hop out at the next red light so Greg ran the next red light lol.

The mom is a winner, she supports her kids’ dreams, supports her husband financially and takes care of her brother and father in law.
And she doesn’t shy away from keeping it real, answering the hard questions and has a ton of patience just letting her kids express themselves.
    As a mother myself, I feel she’s a warrior. 😃
Awesome reaction, this made me so happy.

This was an independently low budget made film that got little advertising on its release. It would've disappeared from the theaters after a few days if it hadn't been word of mouth which brought it to attention to film critics who brought even more attention to it and an Oscar for Alan Arkin. Anybody who now hears "Superfreak" now gets a goofy grin on their faces.

Funny how you guys compared Steve Carell to Robin Williams because coincidentally Robin Williams was considered for that same role! The screenwriters wrote Frank with Bill Murray in mind while the studio wanted Williams. Steve Carell was pretty much an unknown during the casting process and they were worried about not casting a big name but during the time in between his casting and the movie’s release, both The Office and The 40 Year Old Virgin were released in 2005, making him the big name we know today!

Maybe a galaxy. Or a custom animated background. You can have one made on fiverr. Anything other than a photo of a home. It’s so odd! Lmao.

I am so sorry for your generation that cannot see a joke because you are suspicious of everyone and don't trust anyone. You are so afraid of being "politically incorrect"!
