Nice setup! I’m (Jeremy) on the fence about the East-West bed though wife doesn’t mind but I guess that’s the compromise with having a smaller van! Our new van (yet to be built) will be a 19’6 with E-W bed! 🤙🏽 You could always put some book contact on the shower door to block out the show!! 👍🏽

Awesome video guys. Just about to upgrade from our MDC Robson Dual Fold and the XT16 Family has been at the top of our list. We also have 3 kids of similar age. Your video has made decision a lot easier. Thank you
Thank you for a detailed MDC caravan tour and info. We are looking to buy a light caravan for a family of four and your video has helped us to decide on a solid built caravan and not the pop top.
Excellent vid! I love that you guys are just so honest about the 'flaws'. We're looking for a van to fit 6 nicely so your reviews are GOLD! Looking very much forward to all your family adventures!!!
Great info, we just bought XT16 east west. Have you guys figured out what the spare button is on the main controller? We forgot to ask when we were going thru the orientation. So much info to take in.
Thanks heaps... I’ve just bought East West 16/ same issues, bed is very difficult to make! Blinds flimsy.. couple of leak issues initially however overall it’s fantastic! One question need a generator I was told I need 2.4 by Bris MDC to run AC.. what do you think? I was looking at what you suggested Honda. Thanks Linda
Awesome stuff, thank you so much. can I ask, where did the toiletries holder in the bathroom come from, and how is it attached? And with the net pouches, do you just screw them straight in to the wall?
How much would the camper weigh on a big trip with water tanks full and generator i'm board etc? Wondering if an MUX with 3.5t TC would be enough? Thanks :)
@@acaravanand3kidscamp-4x4-e6 We used to have an XT10 and used one of those square clip together floor pieces (I think I saw some in one of the outside storage compartments) on the shower floor. Take it out when using the shower and put it down afterwards to avoid stepping on a wet floor. You may have to cut it to the right size.
Hey great review, very helpful. We are a family of 3 and have our sights set on the same van. We also have a 200 series to tow with. Just wondering how it tows, does it bounce around a lot being single axel and reasonably high? cheers, Matt
Yes it was a little lively to tow being so high and heavy for a single axle van. 200 series towed it heaps better than our 105 series did. We’ve recently upgraded our to a 20.6 urban and we’ll put together a vid of that soon and go into depth of why we upgraded
Mizzygaming E very good question😀we store our Honda 2200watt generator in the rear storage compartment where on this trip you’ll see our shoes and the diesel heater. We took it out for this trip as majority of our Xmas trip is at big caravan parks hitting up the water parks 👌

East west bed is a compromise and for full time it can get old after a while but perfectly fine for holidays and weekends
Love the shower curtain idea!

Very helpful video. You have helped me decide to go with MDC Xt 16. Good luck with your your adventures on the road…👍
Thank you we’ve now upgraded to a full size van but we’ll put together a walkthrough vid soon ✌️

Hi Craig we’ve just listed our van for sale on our fb page if you’re interested 😀

Yes we’re not a fan of pop tops but this van wasn’t light for it’s size 😄
Great run down for family looking at getting out and about

Btw what type of washing machine do you have there?
Sorry Kim! I missed this comment for some reason, we were using a twin tub, available from anaconda, we’ve just upgraded to a camec fully automatic 😀
@@acaravanand3kidscamp-4x4-e6 would love for u guys to do a review on them🙂

You could use some frosted contact adhesive on the outside of your shower door for privacy. Easy fix and comes in all sorts of patterns.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely be looking into that!

Thanks for the video. Loved the mods you have made. We are just about to buy one so I can see us doing very similar things. Happy camping!
Thank you Grant! I’m sure you will love your new van just as much as we do!

Hi great run through and set up! Where do you keep cups etc are they in the fridge slide too with your plates & pans?
Hey yes it all used to just go in the black tub 😁

A caravan and 3 kids perfect thank you 👍🏼
Mizzygaming E no worries it’s a juggling act making everything fit and keep the weights all on spec but we’ve got dialled in now 👌
Awesome video guys.
Thank you 😊
Would love to know where you bought the net pouches from.
Hey they were just off eBay 😀
Would you buy it again if you had a choice
Hi Taylor
instead of the squeegee use a sponge
Thanks I’ll have to give it a try
