Florida Citrus Tower | Clermont, Florida | 2022 | 4K 60 FPS

Join me as I explore the Citrus Tower and take the ride up to its glass-enclosed observation deck. Standing at 226 ft, this structure is one of Florida’s first “attractions,” it was built in 1956.

I grew up in Lake County, Florida! Now it’s the rooftop tower! In the 1980’s it was citrus groves as far as you could see, but after several freezes and bad crop years, the farmers sold to housing developers. I wish that view still looked like it did in the early 80’s! It’s depressing how much development has taken place.

Great video! I’ve been to the top. There’s a similar tower down in Lake Placid, FL but I think it’s no longer open.
