That was something. You must have been soaked to the bone after that ordeal. I think the weather turned out to be the star of this presentation. That was something to see.
I can relate...seems most all of March & April here in the west end of the U.P.of MICHIGAB has been like this!! It gets old when you have spring fever!!!!😊😊😊😊
Amazing video; what an adventure you had! I would have loved to have been there, too! I hope the ship and crew found a safe harbor to anchor in til the storm passed.
A ship is pretty desperate to brave the canal in gale force seas. Despite laughter, it's a very perilous place to be especially at night. Hope you were wearing a life preserver. Superior waves are no joke in these conditions. Hope you got home safely and into a hot shower. Terrible weather for man or ship.
Yeah they seemed very eager to be off the Lake! Honestly didn’t think of life jackets but that is the reason I didn’t stay down there. There were a surprising amount of people there considering the conditions, the areas of the canal that can be dangerous in high waves were blocked off but yeah, definitely treat the Lake with respect! And yes hot showers were the order of the night lol
I might have said the wrong ship at 7:03, oops... 😅😂
Wow! I would have driven up from the Twin Cities to see this one too. Thanks for filming! Unfailing waving crew!
My goodness and thanks to the both of you for filming this!!
No problem! Glad to share!

Holy Hell...Joe Block could have shut off her engines and surfed in on the waves. 😅
Yeah they were getting pushed along pretty good! Still need the engines to steer but yeah it was insane!
