I'm happy thank Youuu 😂😭🙌🔥🇯🇵
Tatsuro Taira, please become the first Japanese UFC champion. 😊
My name is Mari and I love UFC. I am Japanese. To
Tatsuro Taira will surely become a UFC champion.
Good luck ✨
Thank you so much for interview to Tatsuro.
He is super hero who watching UFC from Japan.
"I'm happy Thank youuuuu!!!!"
from Japan
Future flyweight champion. He will rule the division for quite awhile. His timing on his uppercuts against Perez were freaking unreal for someone who is supposed to be a grappling specialist. He has elite poise.. especially for a 24 year old.
i think rei tsuruya can match his grappling skills.
Imagine if Taira trained with Inoue to learn boxing. Dude would become a lethal weapon in the UFC.
Anyone who doesn’t ride this train is silly. A 24 YO who will open a new market with an exciting fight style and a perfect record. BIG things ahead in his long career.
I think he have a lot to work on like checking kicks and stick to the jab he have a wonderful jab but he clinches too much for knees.
Hate him or love him Ariel is good at what he does
I bet he’s going to be a champion next year.
Keep it up man. Tatsuro is the future
Superstar in the making
He's my new favourite fighter in the FW division.
We're basically watching original anime with Tatsuro being MC 😀
初手のI'm happy thank you!
I dont speak Japanese but i feel like that translater wasnt translating properly. 😆
It was so funny that when Tatsuro said that he has been watching Pantoja since he was on TUF (The Ultimate Fighter), the translator translated that he knows that Pantoja has had a TOUGH day.
@@user-rk4ly2ho9ethe translator is his brother so
@@wtwgMwj7976 I think he is not his brother.
I speak Japanese and I can assure you he wasn't perfect but good enough, comparing to many other translators, e.g. the female translator who worked on the Tatsuro's official post-fight interview the other day. Not perfect but was really ok.
@@fuxsap2124 ah fair enough. It just sounded like he didn't interpret the full sentence but I guess he did 😆 I suppose English to Japanese isn't as simple to translate as English to french/Spanish for example
Getting future Demetrious Johnson vibes. I can see this guy reigning a long time if he is able to become champ
I wouldn’t mind one bit if he next fight is a title challenge.
For someone who cant pronounce "anime" correctly, Ariel did a fairly good job at pronouncing Japanese names correctly.
Soo u didnt mention Sakuraba😢
Thank you for interviewing Tatsuro, a Japanese treasure!
Soon he will be more famous than Naoya inoue
Inoue is already pretty famous so…
@@tha1nehe will surpass that intetnationally inoue has a stigma that he only fights in US taira fought in Us soil he will be celebrated not just by the japanese but the fight fans tbh🎉
greatest fighter of all times
🔥🔥
Jeez, what kinda psychopath his baseball couch is for him to run aware and join freaking fist fighting out of all things
Too early for a title shot. I would say 1 or 2 more fights. I would like him to get 5 round experience at least once, or at least go longer than 3 rounds. The kid is just a purple belt in BJJ. Imagine when he reaches black belt rank. :) By the time he gets a black belt, he might be the best grappler in the UFC. He is already in conversation IMO.
i don't know why it took too long to get a good Japanese fighter in the ufc, i mean mma was a thing in japan before the ufc existed, so it's weird, like japanese people are supposed to be the first at it. i guess they don't like fighting that much, they're more into cartoons.
So you’ve never heard of Tikeya Mizugaki, Yushin Okami, Taka Gomi, Kyoji Horiguchi, Genki Sudo, Caol Uno??? I can go on
As you mentioned, Japan used to have PRIDE FC, which was considered a higher level of competition than the UFC.
Personally, I think there are several reasons for that:
1. The fight money from the UFC is relatively low, while the fight money from domestic organizations like RIZIN is higher.
For example, Kyoji Horiguchi.
(*the CEO of RIZIN is the former CEO of PRIDE FC).
2. Japan is the origin of MMA, but due to height issues, there are fewer fighters in the weight classes that the UFC seeks (Japan has more fighters in flyweight to featherweight, and a few in lightweight and above).
3. There are many "RIZIN fans" in Japan, but few "MMA enthusiasts" who want to watch the UFC or other overseas organizations. (However, I believe this could change if a very popular fighter like Kai Asakura joins the UFC).
These reasons contribute to the preference for domestic organizations over the UFC in Japan.
@@callumlambert6558 i didn't say there wasn't japanese fighters in the ufc at all i meant to say the fact that Japan is like the origin of mma you would expect to see champions and great fighters from that country but it's the opposed you rarely see any good fighters from japan.
@@user-rk4ly2ho9e you made some good points, especially the third one, people in japan don't seem to care about anything that's overseas not just mma organizations.
😂🤣
They really need a better translator🥴
Bleach watch anime show called bleach
omggggg
I love how he mentioned Kid Yamamoto. Legend. RIP
This guy looks like an anim character, marketable
