    I have been looking for an auto heat press. I was considering the Cricut Heat press due to crazy great price, but after reading all the reviews, I decided not to purchase. Then... I found your review and I love your reviews, honest and reliable. Thanks Angie for your review. I can't pass up this price given all of the great features.

    This one is now available in Australia under the Loklik banner with a somewhat different control panel, hoping that is the only difference price is AUD$599 so fairly expensive for us Aussie's but looks like a big improvement on V1, which I am happy with. Thanks Angie

    Another excellent video 👍❤. I’ve always been a fan of auto presses. Although I’ve had a few Cricut Auto Presses, and when they work, they work well, it seems like with Cricut, the auto function to close stops working after a year. I’ve gone through three of them. This is a common issue many users experience owning the Cricut AutoPress.
    I switched to the original HTVRont auto press, and it was a love-hate relationship. You’re correct that the original HTVRont doesn’t have enough plate space, and it never made sense why the drawer didn’t pull out all the way. Another drawback of the original HTVRont heat press is the lack of pressure. While it works fine for sublimation transfers, it struggles with DTF prints, puff vinyl, and other materials.
    That said, I’ve placed my order for the new HTVRont AutoPress 2. I definitely agree with your video; the new AutoPress 2 has a lot of new features and improvements. I think you’re spot on with your assessment of this press.
    Regarding puff vinyl, it’s one of those materials that can be hit or miss with any heat press. Even if the settings are correct, the first project might turn out perfectly, while the second doesn’t for some reason-it’s just that type of vinyl. So, I don’t think it’s the fault of the press when using puff vinyl.
    Otherwise, I’m excited to get my new AutoPress 2 this weekend!👏

      I actually have had my Cricut AutoPress for a long time and use it a lot with no issues.
      I think you will like this one! And puff is SO tricky but I thought it was a good test with this one!

We are still waiting in Australia for HTVRront Swing Away Press to arrive so gosh knows how long this version will take to reach us. Soon I hope but won't hold my breath. I have emailed HTVRont today with some hope of a positive answer. Thanks for your review.

    The other upgrade is the timer. I've been happy with the original for the projects I do, except that the original only has a max of 99 seconds per press. That makes doing long press items like slates and ceramics a pain because you have to stay with the press to send it back down.

    I noticed after you did the ceramic press , it left a an indentation on the heat mat and it didn't go away. So did that clear up eventually ?? wouldn't a different heating pad not indent ? like the silicone or rubber ones ?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It did NOT clear up. A firm heat resistant mat would work in the place of this mat and would not do that.

    Do you compare the HTVRont Auto Press 2 to the Cricut Auto press since there is a BIG SALE right now? I currently have a manual Fancier Studio clam shell and was not considering changing to an Auto press until I saw these great Black Friday sales. How does an Auto press compare to a manual heat press? Do you still need both for certain projects?

    Puff vinyl is very finicky. A setting that works for one brand may not work for another. The color of the puff vinyl can also affect the results, even within the same brand.

    • @marklola12
      @marklola12 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Same goes for heat press machines more so htvront ones as they have poor quality control
      You can have 2 people use exact same materials, heat and time and can guarantee 1 won't work out but the other will

    • @ediddy1355
      @ediddy1355 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marklola12 Could be. I've had the first HTVRONT auto heat press from the original Kickstarter Campaign, and it's been a champ. Pressure for certain things like DTF and HTV Puff was definitely challenging at times but mostly corrected when I replaced the heating pad that accompanied it with a firmer, silicone heating pad. I'm also pretty clumsy and burning myself on the heating platen is a given, with the auto heat press not so much.

    • @marklola12
      @marklola12 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ediddy1355i had that from the Kickstarter too but i mostly do wood coasters and glass cutting boards etc and there was never enough pressure even with extra mats which actually made it alot worse.
      Same with their auto tumbler press, 11oz mugs barely could be slid inside and because the mug pushed against the heating element when taking out it always smudged the image in areas
      Got a cricut one and damn perfect every time and massive opening ao no pressing on the heat element when taking out
