Brings back some special memories, I grew up in blakesware gardens from 1965 - 1975 , would love to know if anyone was there that is there now ? We were number 23 , we had friends at number 34 , June, Doug , Beverley and graham ?? My grandparents were at number 58 , we went to Raglan Road primary school, happy times …..

Hello Deby I'm pleased the video bought back some happy memories for you. I only moved here in 1985 and I think I'm among the longest residents here now. I'm afraid I don't know any of the names you mentioned. It's a lovely road and location, we have a lovely community here. We are very lucky to have Salmons Brook at the end of our gardens for those of us on the even number side. You may want to join our facebook group, we have lots of old photos of street parties where you may recognise some of the faces. facebook.com/groups/Blakesware I also wonder if this will bring back more memories for you too. th-cam.com/video/4HS9PvI-yrI/w-d-xo.html

....I too have some beautiful videos of Pymmes Brook as it runs through from Waterfall Road to Hampden Square and on into Oakhill Park.

Brings back memories of being chucked down the embankment by the bridge in a fight after school lol. Circa 1980s.

+bmwnasher As a boy in the sixties I have fond memories of the Weir down by Cambridge Roundabout. For us kids it was our own private wilderness.
