He said the cake was supposed to be symbolic and yet it had him, sitting by himself, on top where he was beheaded and crushed after the cake sat unprotected for an 8 hour drive in the back of a cargo van. And he had originally expected it to be edible 5 days after he picked it up. Yes, the cake was definitely symbolic.
Did he really expect the best man left behind to organise and not only that but fund his hen do for his bride to be ? And he is bewildered as to why this guy quit ? He took the one best man with him but expected the other to do all the hard work back home, whilst they have a jolly, what a joke !!
So many of these grooms take 5 guys to a three or four day vacation……I thought the money was supposed to be spent on the WEDDING not a bachelor party…..
So, he picked up the cake five days before and then drove it however far and then went on a cruise for Five days??? Before the wedding. What on earth??
Love how he's sitting back on a lounge on a cruise while she's waiting with kids and bags beside the road and he's feeling sorry for himself asking why he deserves this. You don't mate, you don't deserve to be marrying that poor woman.
@@racheldemain1940 I would consider doing the same if I was him. Imagine one friend going on a cruise, while you're kicked off as not worthy to go with them and told to organise his future wife's hen do instead all by yourself. Groom seems like a dingbat and his fiance deserves to know what a selfish guy he is before she marries him.
They are forced to go through it otherwise they have to pay the money back. So its not fair on the bride to payout for the mess the men create. Most end up getting divorced.
He didn't get bridesmaid dresses, he didnt pay for her baggage, he didn't get taxi from airport to hotel, she was there for 3 hrs before best man #2 bought her a taxi...sorry 10 yrs or not, I wouldn't have gone through with it
What a bloody git! Did he really think that was the best way to transport a cake? This was a flipping disaster in the making. I see why his mate quit him. Good luck with that git, Kelly!
This must have been a set up as no self respecting cake baker would allow the cake to go that early and would not box it like that !! Cake baker and decorator
I think they do everything possible to ad drama. The producers must ask for the worst way to handle everything. It’s too planned not to be the producers.
So many of the grooms on this program splurge on themselves and their groomsmen and leave the bride and her bride's maids struggling. I know they aren't supposed to communicate directly during the program, but don't you think if they knew they'd been accepted onto the show, they would talk about what they wanted and what their expectations were beforehand?
@@Luinthil so I know most do discuss all of this beforehand BUT... the grooms are to selfish and weren't actually LISTENING to their partner. That's also why so many end up divorced shortly after the show airs. It's actually really sad.
😅 They might have thought it was for that day and not over a week later, Because most people with common sense.Don't pick up the cake until the day of or before.
He's relaxing on a cruise with his mate, she's exhausted dragging kids around, fending for herself in a foreign country...all for her wedding day. This should tell her everything she needs to know about her future with this man.
How did the cake end up being even worse when when the chef 1st set his eyes on the cake? Surely you’d do everything you can to make sure it didn’t end up being worse
Rule number one. If you're going to have a cake, make sure somebody in the front seat is holding the cake. Never put the cake in the backseat especially when you have a lot of heavy things in the back of a truck or a van or whatever cuz that cake will definitely be destroyed and then you got to go with option two
Everything the best man said was still to do - the idiot groom left with the best man to do including the bridesmaid dresses and rings. A joke!!!!! I’m not surprised he quit!
why on earth would you get married if you don't ALSO see it as the most important day of your life and know your partner's preferences like the back of your hand?
Honestly, that is such a pointless take. Not all men are clueless. Men who truly love their women know their preferences it's not even a question. On the other hand, more self absorbed men lack the awareness to consider their partners interests
In the early days of this show, alot of the grooms hit it out of the park and pulled off amazing weddings. It seems the producers wanted more drama and looked for people who'd be more likely to cause a disaster.
I would not be as strong as her I would have gone home immediately actually I wouldn't even gotten on the airplane I would have just went straight home that cake is hella tacky it's your wedding day you don't go on a vacation you don't get that right he should have done a wedding at their home location instead of making her go all over the place like that then making her weight over 3 hours to get a ride to a ran down abandoning looking a hotel or are you kidding me that's grounds for see you later goodbye with no more see you
The way he snaps at and blames his Best Man because HE didn't consider all the expenses? Ridiculous! Take responsibility for your own wedding, you roaster >:(
It's a rare man that can plan these things. But to expect them to know what goes into planning a wedding. I've never seen the show, so do they have any kind of guidance? This is bizarre.
The producers want the show to be as chaotic as possible and encourage the grooms to go over the top (at least in the newer seasons). They likely choose couples who they believe will create the most drama, and arrange for certain things to go wrong.
The groom was not much of a friend to leave the best man behind and not take him on holiday with him and instead tell him to organise all the stuff he was supposed to do himself. I'm not surprised the guy quit.
The face I made when he just placed the cake in the back of the van with zero protection and started driving. There was no way that was ending well.
He said he doesn’t deserve this, but he absolutely does and worse. He put no effort in so he gets exactly what he put into it.
He said the cake was supposed to be symbolic and yet it had him, sitting by himself, on top where he was beheaded and crushed after the cake sat unprotected for an 8 hour drive in the back of a cargo van. It's for everything wedding ,stag and hen
@@hollyshaw2469Someone needs to remind the grooms ;)
The production company persuade them to do it. Behind the scenes they offer them extra budget to make controversial choices.
So, he picked up the cake five days before and then drove it however far and then went on a cruise for Five days??? Before the wedding. What on earth??
I suspect the cake would be dry and stale.
Gross!!!
Shoes it’s all about him -hope she dumped him
Plonker.

Anyone else looking at the cake in the van versus the cake handed to the chef. Groom had obviously been punching it...
Why did this groom waste money on a cruise with another man? Weird and selfish. Who is the other man, and why is he so special to the groom?
Suss innit? 😮
There’s a lot of latent blah blah blah out there. It’s not new. “Lads” is what the call them now
‘Sporting lads!”
The amount of men who get the money from this show and use it an an excuse to go on holiday is hilarious
They ALL do, they all have foreign stag doos. They have gone to Europe, Far East and America. The girls all end up at local pubs and nightclubs.
Its evil n disrespectful 😅
Not surprised if marriages end after the shows air.
That's why if you send funds into 3rd world countries, you give it to Moms.
Indication of how marriage will be. Groom will think of himself first.
Do these "men" even love the women they're wanting to marry... It doesn't look like it. You dont do this to someone you love.
You got that right
Wait so he didnt even organise the hen do he just left it for the best man to organise?? What a coward.
and the best man bailed on him too!

Another really selfish groom, just completely missing the point. Can't understand why she'd go through with the wedding.
They have to pay the money back if they don't follow through.

Uncovered cake - five days “old” - not packed properly in the back of the van = disaster. 🧐🧐🤔🙄. However, the bride is stunning!!! ❤❤
He was asking for trouble packing the Cake like that. He spent the rest of the wedding budget.
I knew as soon as he shoved the cake in the back of the van with all the other stuff and none of it secured that it would be a big mistake!
"What have i done to deserve this?" he asks. Well mate, do literally did nothing for the wedding except sit on a cruise with your pal.
I really really really struggle to find any sympathy for this man

Cuz he's a twot
A cake that won’t be eaten for 5 days? Yuck.
Depends if it was a fruit or sponge cake. I am guessing Sponge as fruit cakes last longer and usually hold their shape quite well.
I blame the groom for not organising the Hen Do for his bride to be
Welp I hope Mark enjoyed his cruise
What a childish cake! What bride would want that?
That cake shop needs to invest in better boxes. If a real bride picked a cake up in that box, there'd be hell to pay.
