      Very true…I do wish other bikes had front and back braking like the Rune with one lever.

    I'm lucky to be the caretaker to a 2004. Number 226. When I'm to old to ride I'll just polish it.

    Hi Motorcycle Authority, I would like to remark two things, with all due respect: the Rune is not a V-Twin; it is a flat 6 opposed cylinders (not a boxer). Besides that, it has a 5-speed transmission, not 6 speed as stated above.

    I have been blessed to aquire one last summer... 2004 serial number 6 with 5,200 miles. Superb machine. I am fortunate. It was pricy - but worth every dollar.... Never thought I'd be able to find one.....One less want on the bucket list 😊

    j'ai acheté une rune en juillet 2004 et maintenant 75000 km et satisfait a 100 pour cents comme mes 2 premiers 6 cylindres cbx79 et valkyrie 97 le mien est bleu illusion et le no série 051💥💥💥👏👏👏

      Honda makes a solid motorcycle and they did not cut any corners on this bike.

      I’d stick with a Goldwing ……a very competent long distance tourer

      @@neilurquhart8622 for touring the Goldwing is a good choice. The Rune is not set up that well for long distance. No windshield (or at least no factory shield) and no place for luggage on a factory Rune.
