    Thanks. I was nervous about installing the handles incorrectly and your video helped a lot. I agree it is nice and quiet. It's also a wonderful substitute for the 18.2 cu ft monster I had before.

    Great video! Does the main portion where you store your drinks ever ice up like the fridges that are cooled by the freezer section? I hope I am making sense 😃

      I’ve had zero issues with mine. Not one problem at all. Worst case, try to buy the extended warranty if that will give you more peace of mind. But, mine has been perfect.

    It's not about you just showing off your refrigerator, it's to give people an idea whether they want to buy one in terms of the capacity so it would have been nice if you would have shown the capacity of the freezer too

    • @locoboof
      @locoboof  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t know if you watched the video or not, but I showed the inside of the freezer. As well and showing on the screen the Cubic Feet in the freezer.

    it's listed at 27.48" depth. Is that accurate? and how close can you push it back against the wall? I'm trying to see if this will be too deep for the space I have.

    Hi! I'm planning to buy one of these, but the space I'm looking to put it is a bit of a tight fit. When you open the door, does it become wider? Or does it stay the same width as when the door is closed?

    Hey James,
    I just purchased the 12' version of this retro fridge. I've noticed that the freezer thermostat control turns with no resistance - almost like it is not attached to a controller. Does yours do the same thing?

    • @locoboof
      @locoboof  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hhmmm… I honestly don’t remember. I’m at work, when I get home I’ll adjust it and see. I’ll reply back.

  • @paolomarcelino2947

    Do you to plug in to power surge or it’s ok direct to outlet? Thanks

    • @locoboof
      @locoboof  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can plug it into either one. But, if you’d like to protect it from a potential power surge, then a surge protector would be required.

  • @susy911

    my handles will not stay on...just got it today, the screws don't screw in to the fridge. They keep falling off, so loose. Any advice?

    • @locoboof
      @locoboof  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s so strange…. It could be maybe they sent you the wrong screws in the box?
      Maybe contact Galanz and see if they can ship you the correct ones?
      If you bought it locally, go back to that store and let them know. See if they’ll give you the correct screws from a new one.

    • @susy911
      @susy911 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@locoboof thank you. So I'm guessing you had no issues with the screws. Mine are pretty short. However the 2 on the shorter end are perfect. I'll contact someone that's for sure lol. I even posted a help video for this on TH-cam last night 🤣

    • @locoboof
      @locoboof  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct, I had zero issues with my screws. They all worked perfectly.
      Worst worst case, take one of the good screws with you to Home Depot and ask an employee to find you a identical one. Or the closest thing to it.
      You shouldn’t have to pay for something that should’ve come with your fridge, but it’s a inexpensive workaround.

    • @susy911
      @susy911 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@locoboof the 6 screws are all identical in length, etc. I have no problem going to Home Depot and getting 4 that are longer for the wider part of the handle that's the issue. Just worried I'll damage the fridge then I can't return it.

    • @locoboof
      @locoboof  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe contact the place where you bought it and let them know the issue then? I totally understand about not wanting to potentially damaging it.
