Hayata had a good game plan for going against Batra's defensive style. AND she executed great! She seemed very relaxed, which allowed for her to make more explosive top spins.
Manika Batra is like a rolemodel for my playingstyle. I enjoy her style a lot. There is so much I can learn. This game was interesting to watch. Last set: she lost 9 offensive rallys, got only one point from a defense play. The use of the long pimple didn't happend. And Hayata is a lefthander. All things that makes games short. Against Mittelham and Manju it worked, here surprisingly not. I will watch this game often, so that I understand what to do against a sudden weakness of our game. Because it also happens to me. I win against strong players and I loose the next pritty fast, without understanding why. Batras Bodylanguage says the same. Why am I not able to do anything... Looking foreward to see you under the top 10😊
probably because hina hayata is the shortest.. so the balls are on average lower.. and since Batra mostly hits flat and not loop, her shots tend to overshoot beyond the table (if a ball is higher, it’s easier to clear the net and still land on the table)
This match here really shows Manika forehands needs alot of co-ordination, doesn't have the forehand that you should have like real ark, the salute style like a really good hook to return the ball. Her smashing is really awkward and footing. Just my observation. Just watch Hayatas footwork and the way she hits the ball. Totally different. Hayata pretty quick on the move and dominating. It was a tough one for Manika. I thought Manika was gonna give Hayata trouble but Hayata was starting pick up her style, quick serving to her backhand. If she had the forehand of Samsonov. Might make some slight changes. Good win for Hayata
You're a 100% right. Nice to see somebody who appreciates/knows table tennis. To me, those pip players are shameful/non-professional/low class people who only want a fast win WITHOUT proper basic skills. Using different surface rubbers is like playing 2 against 1, absolutely unfair setup. ittf should look into this coz upsetting/unrealistic results also upset us and sports principle as well. To be civilized, we can't ban them BUT we can put them in another comp to let them upset each other but that'll be embarassing and worthless to watch. However, that'll disapprove pips value and it will disappear. Until then we can truly enjoy/appreciate how our favourite players play and trained for. Hello from Australia. (BTW, I am a 73 y.o. penholder Chinese who have lived abroad most my life, only to pick up this amazing sport in late 50's, still loving it).
Comparing to China, there are many top 50 LP players in Japan. Some blockers like Idezawa Kyoka, others are choppers (even though choppers, many times they play near the table).
Не знаю, что произошло с Манью и Ниной, должны были закрывать Манику на сухую, наконец справедливость восторжествовала, Хина убедительно доказала, что выигрыаает теннисистка, а не накладки! Браво, Хина!

The last game was a perfect example of how a top player takes a twiddler's game apart.
LP🏓🤘🤘🤘
Long pimple blocker is choked😆😆😆
Лисичка молодец

She is playing frickless LP. Good. And nobody cares.
Junk is still the loser. I better switch back to the white force.
