@@MileHighReefers no problem. Also a few years back I promised to send over a og bounce mushroom once mine grow some babies. That never happened since it got eaten by a lobster that has since been banished to the sump. I recently got a new small frag. I intend to keep that promise once I'm able to.

I'm sorry for what you went through. I just learned my husband's been planning on a life with a woman he works with, once I die. I don't see me dying anytime soon, so I do have to wonder how that was going to be accomplished. Now he's about to be fired from his DHS job due to his threatening a coworker who his lady friend told him was bothering her. Now that he's going to lose his job, he learns she doesn't want anything to do with him. The 1 thing I ask from relationships is honesty. But couldn't even get that. Thankfully you're healthy. I am not. I was healthy when I got married and have always worked harder than most. I used to move mountains and now I'm trapped. I envy your escape and I hope everything gets better for you.

It was really hard to do, especially when you watch others head down a path of self direction. You can still move mountains it just might need to be one rock at a time.

My secret seems too simple I’m very disciplined with what I eat. I eat primarily fruits vegetables nuts and seeds. More than half is uncooked. The cool part is I don’t limit how much food I eat. I eat as much as I want and I eat a lot.
Thanks for sharing your story and I'm sorry for what you had to go through. I went through the same thing back in 2018. We sold the house and I had to break down my 120 gallon mixed reef. I now have a wonderful loving GF and I still get to see my kids almost every day since my ex and I share 50/50 custody. After being out of the hobby for a few years I recently started a new tank just last year, albeit a smaller Waterbox nano tank with a sump. I'm running an SPS dominant system. The first few months were rough, going through all the ugly algae phases and losing a few SPS frags. The tank has finally stabilized though and I'm just now starting to see SPS growth. I look forward and am excited to the future of this tank. Don't worry Scott, this divorce will soon be long behind you and things will get better.

I would say sorry about the divorce, however; you are healthier, back to the hobby (which brings true happiness) and overall in a better situation than you were in. Plus you kept the house 💪… I personally know what it’s like to go through a divorce and although mine was cordial it still sucks. relearning yourself and carrying on with life is the next chapter so keep your head high and thank you for sharing part of your personal life. Sometimes we touch others in a positive way!

Been there, done that. My ex did 12 years in prison. That being said, I dont feel that I came out on top. I have no relationship with my kids-or my grandkids. I was put through hell. Flash forward 35 years, and things are fantastic. I know why I went through hell......It was to get to heaven. Cheers my friend, skinny is WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than fat.
