0.05 eccentricity means..?

Hy, I changed the eccentricity of the building after the analysis showed irregularity in torsional check. But still the results are the same, do I keep increasing/modifying the value of eccentricity for the building in the load pattern dialogue till the analysis says that the structure is regular ?

Eccentricity will not be changed. But to resist that eccentricity ETABS will make it's members more stiff by increasing Reinforcement. Thanks.

Sir, I wanna ask about what if I'm not using the Eqiuvalent lateral force, but I'm using Modal Respon Spectrum. How can I put the ecc on the etabs?

dear , at first we have to analyze by Equivalent lateral force and if we find eccentricity we will put that value in load pattern of EQ. Finally we will go for Modal response spectrum analysis. thanks.
