Your pita breads were the very first bread product I ever made. Aside from the easy recipe, the fact that no oven was required to cook them was a huge boon in the summer when it's too hot to run an oven. They're now a staple in our house and go great with hummus.

I made these for the first time today and it was terribly good !! So so so good !!
When I asked my father, who loves any kind of bread (french family here), what he thought about it, he just said it was not good... not good because I didn't make enough pita and should have made a huge batch
So yeah, we totally approve ! Thanks for the recipe !

Hello! I love Greek food, no matter what! And I love the simplicity of your style of cooking, I tried today the Sakiki sauce, it was delicious! and tomorrow I will try to make the Pita. I always love to New York City to the Greek Festival the people, the food, and the music is excellent!
Thank you for your energy and for teaching us your culture. I dream of going to Greece, (I think half of my heart is there) haha! :)
Keep cooking and showing the Greek culture through your food. That is your passion, and I can hear the voice of your ancestors.

Just made this and oh my god it was the tastiest bread I've ever had. I don't think I've ever had freshly made bread before. I never even knew the flavors that bread could have until I tried it. My gf is super indifferent the bread and always prefers rice, but after I made these she was amazed and eventually just took off all of the topping and started eating just the bread, all of it.
The fridge nor freezer works for this recipe at all, I've tried it, but for my kitchen I'm now keeping fresh dough in the fridge so I can make these on-demand. After like 2-3 hours a lot of the flavor disappears, I'm not sure why, so fresh is a must here. That must be why I've never tasted these flavors before - they disappear before I get to taste them

What a beautiful recipe!! And I totally love how people from the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries use olive oil in everything!! Being Indian, I can tell you that most Indian folks use ghee (clarified butter), coconut oil, mustard oil or peanut oil, but my family decided to be different and switched to olive oil years and years ago. And that's what I use every day too! I wish I can try Kalamata olive oil someday :) oh boy, I LOVE olives

It is crazy how many flatbreads there are and they are actually all different in texture, look and taste. Greek pita, Turkish yufka, Armenian lavash, Lebanese pita bread (distinct from the Greek one), Bosnian Lepinja and Iranian Naan e Taftoon. Slight differences in the recipes make those breads distinct and change the food experience totally. Love it

These are great.unbelievably good..and very minimal kneading. Also.....check out his bacon tips,. as old as I am I've never heard of adding water to the skillet but the technique has merit and the end product proves it.

Making this pita bread for the 2nd time now, LOVE it! Like you say in the video, once you tried it you never gona buy it again. So true! Last time I made it for the homemade pork gyro. Today we will have it with your quick greek chicken gyro, tzatziki and red onion and tomato slices. My son want to top it with some feta cheese too. Thank you for all your great recipes. Been making few of them since I found your channel. Super easy pita bread to make
