If you end up doing a part 2, I'd love to see Red Faction. My Galaxy Tab S8 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 really struggles with it, and I'm curious if the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is really that much better. Thanks!
Awesome showcase. Thank you for showing Time Crisis 3, looks amazing. I've got an Odin 2 ready to open on Christmas so that'll be exciting. Your videos helped me decide to buy it :)
Thank you for playing my requests, Dirge of Cerberus is too hard to run on NetherSX2, but to see it on 2x is refreshing, it seems the SD 8Gen 2 is powerful to play some hard games, even at 1080p but it wil take some time.... Happy holidays and hopr you have a good time with your family! =D
Hi there, I hope you are doing great! I just wanted to thank you for this video since I've been searching for some Switch emulation footage with the new updates and it seems to run games pretty well. Did you try some of the more demanding games like Bayonetta 2/3 or TOTK? Have a nice day :)
So far having a little issue with Switch and those were the only games that I can get to run. Once I get more, I will do another video. Hopefully add them in my review of the Odin 2 coming up.
So I watched retro game corps like you suggested and I’ve gotten everything setup. There’s still a few things I have to tweak but overall it’s setup and runs beautifully. Runs psp wonderfully. I’m excited to play my Dreamcast portably now. Dreamcast Ecco looks n runs amazing ? I have some ps2 n GameCube games coming so I’ll see how they run but I’m guessing they’ll run smoothly. I’m really excited. Thanks for the link on how to set it up. Eventually I woulda figured it out but it def would have taken me a lot longer. Oh btw, I’m not much of a shooter gamer myself. More of an rpg/strategy type of gamer. :) later ps. Can you showcase resident evil4 for GameCube on here? I’d like to see how it runs and looks upscale. Later
There is something I would like to see actually. Winlator running old windows games or dosbox. Maybe some point n click adventures, myst, Simon the sorcerer etc. phantasmagoria ? :):):) bringing back so many memories :)
I’m curious to see how the Odin 2 handles a windows or dos emulator. Not that I don’t think it’s not powerful enough. I just don’t know how the emulator would run on android. Curious. If yes, then that’d open up a whole world of gaming excitement for me. Thanks
For GameCube, is the Odin 2 really able to play Rogue Leader smoothly? The first 2 levels seem OK but no one tests the third level of Hoth which is really difficult
To give you an update, I just received the Odin 2 pro yesterday. Omg. I’m in love. Even the box is amazing lol. I haven’t really set it up, soon I will. I did have a question, does it play Xbox games? And is there even an Xbox emulator? This is by far my favorite purchase of 2023
Look up Xemu. I honestly have never tried it because Xbox is very hard to emulate. Usually it's recommended to play on a PC or handheld PC or steam deck. Congrats on getting the device! It's just beautiful, isn't it? I'll have more videos out for it soon. Let me know if you have any questions. P.s. follow this guide for setup. th-cam.com/video/M8HhMNbJBc0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bS309yYHSHR0gwc7
If you do another test video in the future, Id love to see a PS2 JRPG showcase! Radiata Stories, Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud 2, Xenosaga, FFX, FFX-2, FFXII, Star Ocean Til The End of Time, Suikoden III, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Persona 3 & 4, some of the Tales games from the PS2, Atelier Iris etc. (Not all of those of course just throwing titles out there)
Sure thing! Thanks for giving me some requests. I will definitely be making a Part 2 of Game Testing Requests and adding these in! Thanks for watching!
There are just some ps2 games that even something as powerful as the odin pro has issues with. Two games that the retroid 3+ could not run still have graphical glitches and or slow down issues on my pro and Killzone still crashes. I feel this is due to Aethersx2 development being dead. Yuzu has issues but there are constant improvements.
I haven't used the emulator you mention. I use Yuzu because it's pretty easy to use, works and gets updated regularly. I haven't had any issues with it. To each their own, though.
@@RetroFunTech oh okay yeah same with Ryujinx it updates every day but when I used yuzu none of the games work I try open gl too nothing just black screen tweak the settings alot no Bueno lol.
I have an odin 2. And for switch emulation it's...OK but there are issues no one seems to tall about. Like mapping the controls I yuzu for me atleast isn't great. Using the odin screen mapper for the sticks, when moving them quickly I experience missed inputs. Which hinders action based games. As an example. Eg make sure you see the sticks on screen. And move them left to right quickly.
I've been testing out more games on Yuzu and it seems to depend on the game. Hades, for me, works great. Super Mario Wonder works but occasionally has input latency. Playing Switch on any of these handhelds is a bonus in my opinion. The software isn't 100%. I was just excited to get it running without any gigantic graphical issues, which seem to happen on other devices. I have heard that some games work better in the Skyline app, so maybe that is an option for you.
@@ryangalvatron4451 thats pretty good. And it's only going to get better. My concern is how the controls behave in fast paced games, namely the analogue sticks.
The first Ratchet&Clank game has performance issues. Even at 2xIR+Vulcan when the flamethrower enemies show up it tanks hard. With the Citra-EMU from their webside you can play 3DS games with higher than 4xIR. Mario Kart 7 and OR/AS runs really nice with 6xIR+Vulcan.
If you end up doing a part 2, I'd love to see Red Faction. My Galaxy Tab S8 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 really struggles with it, and I'm curious if the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is really that much better. Thanks!
With lastest yuzu nce I'm playing most of the switch games in docked mode 60fps....
Awesome showcase. Thank you for showing Time Crisis 3, looks amazing. I've got an Odin 2 ready to open on Christmas so that'll be exciting. Your videos helped me decide to buy it :)
Oh great!!! So glad I could help! You will love it. It's just an amazing piece of technology.
Happy Holidays!😊
Please tell me a charger + cable for the Odin 2 Pro...
So far I read everywhere that there are problems with charging :/
I haven't had any issues charging the device. It works on C to C cables, fast chargers and slow chargers. The battery lasts long too.
Great job. I have the Odin 2 also but been kinda busy.
How was the input latency? I’m getting mixed reviews. Mostly want to stream ps5, ps2 and GC.
Damn! The Jak games are finally playable on a Android handheld, looks so good.

Thanks for requesting that. Honestly it was a great game to test out because it was 100% and needed some tweaking.
Happy Holidays!

Yeah I plan on getting a GameCube video out for the Odin 2.
Anything else you want to see, gamecube or otherwise?

So i just started playing gran Turismo 4 upscaled and full screen and it just looks and plays amazing. Gonna start the career tonight
More switch!

Thanks for the content. Have you figured out how to transfer apps and app data from your phone yet
Opps never mind. I just figured it out

Plz try Burnout Dominator!!Thanks
Mine is coming soon, I’m so excited!!?
All these portables have this stupid black border wasting space. How much is the usable screen size?
Wow, try Hitman blood money reprisal and more high end android games please.
Hi. Is it possible to make a video for best settings for these emulation please
What are the best setting for citra? I can't run some games :(

Have you tried Red Faction by chance? I haven't been able to find any test of that online and I feel like the Odin 2 won't be able to do it.
For PS2?@@aj-zk1wx
Or maybe half-life 2? :):):)
Why do most people use Yuzu I never used that one I used Ryujinx I haven't had any issues with it either just wondering???

It's been hot or miss for me as well. Some are don't even work and some are in between.
Out of the 30 games I've installed about 18-20 of them play
