Nah bruh this shit is fucking plagiarized that's why this track is missing from the psp re-release
@@lancemartinez1130 Actually that was because Japan wasn't fond of the Kirkhope styled tunes while Grant himself was flattered that someone tried to emulate his style of music. It was a bit of a deal breaker for PSP owners which led to so many people modding their copies.
@@dnmstarsiAny idea as to why the Xbox version never gets mentioned?
Crash's style,
Spyro's aesthetic,

Wait but what’s the difference between style and aesthetic?
Style is gameplay feel, and aethetic is the colors.
If WBD weren’t being a bunch of bitches and delisted a lot of Adult Swim games, they probably would have commissioned a tie-in Gwimbly game to promote Smiling Friends

I love how Count Groxia’s theme is just an epic version of Groxia’s lair. Really makes this boss fight feel like a true final battle.
It's not just the lair, the Groxia leitmotif was everywhere in Gwimbly 1 and 2 if you really listen. Kinda makes me wonder if Gwimbly was an inspiration for Toby Fox?
@@Kutaloo Definitely since Touhou was a big inspiration for Toby Fox and ZUN collabed with Insane Groundbreaking Games to make Gwimbly 4.5: Perfect Green Iconic Mystery
@@Kutaloo id say toby fox was probaly more inspired by grimbly 5: dr romblortius strikes back
@bigprogaymer6923 Oh man, at least we can all agree that 5 was the worst. They'd run out of ideas at that point in the series and it really shows from Chapter 2 onwards.
@@Havokwreaker yea honestly 5 really sucked. The level design was Very linear and the Boss fights were Far too easy tbh. But the OST absolutely slaps
It’s incredible just how much this SOUNDS like Grant Kirkhope’s style. Superb job dude, just simply great stuff.
That’s what I thought when I saw it in show.
Wow. It could just slither into a Banjo game and many wouldn’t know.
Grants got some explaining to do
The strings ascending and descending super fast really sell the Grant Kirkhope-ness better than anything else.

gwimbly and mr. millipede: groxia’s inside story
gwimbly 3 is actually a huge misconception, as it's just "Gwimbly: Between Corn and Evil". there's no 3 in it which makes no sense but what are you gonna do
Mr. Millipede's Mansion
I remember I was so close to beating this game, until a crazed mass murderer came into my room, took the controller out of my hands and beat me in the head with it, broke my controller and used the shards to shave my head and skin my pets. The police later identified him as a Mr. Joshua Tomar. I get chills hearing this theme because it reminds me of the crazed look in his eye.
I hear if you beat the game 149% in Burbank California you can acquire a Tomar emerald
The Gwimbly games were no joke, it’s amazing how they still hold up today even with their difficulty
Gwimbly 1 is a bit rough tbh. And the GBA game was a lazy cash grab
I agree the GBA port is SUPER buggy...I still cant believe that THAT AND Gwimbly Gets Real came out 17 years ago! like, its so glitchy its UNPLAYABLE! Its still crazy that after all these years hes still held on
@@Star-Mania People always blame the glitches, but honestly, the infinite cream corn glitch actually makes the game even easier. This newer generation of gamers needs to just stick to Troglor if they hate being challenged so much.
The gaslighting is hilarious! You know kids are gonna believe you 😂
@@crimsonhawk9492 ikr! And they did! Cackle Cave was so fun to explore as a kid in Gwimbly 3D! My favorite part was when Dr.Musk sprayed Mr.Millipeed and me with the Gaslight Gun and we somehow ended up the the gameshow segment! We were put up against the Kooky Kidz and somehow managed to trick them into making the grand prize the exit of the endless level... I was DYING after that bit! It was so funny! I hope the next game lives up to gwimbly 3ds legacy

Wasn't expecting to see you and GoldenPen in this, nice surprise XD

I remember as a kid I always had to have my dad help me with this part. I didn't understand that Groxia is invulnerable to your Gwimbly Gun and can only be hurt by using Mr Milipede to jump on his head. As an adult now, it's a cakewalk. But for a kid it's a pretty challenging boss. Hopefully the remake, Gwimbly Re-Corned, coming out in 2025 with all 3 gwimbly games included will still keep the original's charm
Fr bro I have the same problem
Re-Creamed* get it right smh
I like how every artist captured Gwimblys iconic purple prolapse
That's his eraser. Wild Woody is the one with the prolapse.
Or was it the other way around?
I saw the Angry Video Game Nerd’s review of the Gwimbly games recently, and I gotta agree with him. The boss fight is definitely worth all those hours of collecting Cream Corn. Just listen to that score!
I heard rumors that Gwimbly was going to appear in a 2nd Plok game, but its been over a decade since i heard the rumor...
"I've been diddled again!"
Easily one of the toughest bossfights of the era, and the music fits the mood wirh Count Groxia's constant barrage of attacks. This had me stumped as a kid for the longest time I never could hold onto my creamed corn during the 2nd phase
You think THAT was hard?
Did you ever do all of the side-quests and fight the TRUE final boss…?
@AKPiratePrince wait what? I thought doing all the side quests just got you the full 149% completion rate - there's a secret boss after?
Well looks like I'm jumping back into the world of Grimbly one more time
@@jaycielle I don’t want to spoil anything but…you wanna know where the idea for Super Sonic REALLY came from…?
Yeah, uh, it’s KINDA something like that.
I heard if you 153.6% Gwimbly 2, you are rewarded with a Tomar emerald, but no one's been able to claim it as Tomar is the secret final boss. He's unbeatable as all of his attacks are one shots and you're only given an eighth of a frame to dodge, he doesn't telegraph any of his attacks and he's always aggroed. You can't zone him out either, as he just deflects all projectiles from the Gwimbly gun. People data mined Gwimbly 2 to find that out, they are dead now. Tomar grabbed their IP addresses and as he bludgeoned them with cans of creamed corn, he kept asking if they learned their lesson.
you went hard on this just for it to barely be background noise for 20 seconds
It is INCREDIBLE how evocative this music is of Grant Kirkhope's work, I'm surprised Grant himself didn't compose it!
Look up an album by JD Moser called "Bear and Bird", it's also heavily inspired by Grant Kirkhope. :) It features music used in games by Siactro like Kiwi 64 and MacBat 64.
Really captures that Grant Kirkhope bombastic obnoxious sound that made our parents fantasize about smothering us in our sleep when we were kids whenever they heard it from the family TV.
What most people don’t know is that Count Groxia’s current wife is actually his second wife. At one point he was married to Gruntila Winkybunion, most well known for her role in the Banjo-Kazooie series. However, their marriage was annulled after only 57 days.
If you’d told me this was a song from Banjo Tooie I probably would’ve just believed you
I got Banjo-Threeie vibes from it. As if that game was the swan song to the N64 while being enhanced for the GameCube version.
@@dnmstarsiThere's apparently a hack for Banjo-Kazooie which is a remake of Grunty's Revenge which is basically Banjo-Threeie or well Banjo-TooiePointO
the 10000 creamed corns collected to unlock the final boss was absurd, but it was all worth it to hear this banger
You don’t actually have to get 10,000 creamed corns, if you free Zambo in level 4 or 5 she’ll give you a key to the castle, and if you harvest enough peels you can put all the guards to sleep.
@@SessVlogs Don't forget about the secret door in the castle gardens. The underground hazard course was a pain in the ass, but it's the fastest way to the final boss outside glitches
@@rightnut6270 I know, but then you can't get the Purple Powerup and I literally cannot beat the final boss without it!
When I saw Gwimbly's reveal trailer for Super Duper Slash, I couldn't believe my eyes! The fact that they used the final boss theme from Gwimbly 2 makes me super happy!
I kinda hate how they kept in the downgraded version of the Gwimbly Punch as his neutral B, but they _immediately_ gained my respect back by giving him his iconic Gwimbly Gun as a side special, even if it sacrifices a bit of mobility
I would love if Adult Swim and Zack made a real Gwimbly game.
And Micheal hummed a little tune and clapped his feet
@@scacknewman
It's a shame Tomar burned down the studio with Mike in it, but it had to happen.
Well, this is the nail in the coffin for me to confirm that Gwimbly was 1000% supposed to be a Banjo-Kazooie parody, and that is so fkin cool 😎 Like, the Smash Bros. joke at the end was already enough to convince me, but now this seals the deal 💀

Everyone talks about the Gwimbly Rap but I think this is by far the best song in all of Gwimbly 3
With the way the music sounds, gwimbly could be a game series.
Pro gwimbly smash players are nightmares, the single i frame in his taunt is frankly a war crime at this point..
His final smash is still pretty iconic though. Just splattering the entire arena in molten creamed corn while hot corn kernels rain from above.
Peak video games.
I know; it's frankly unfair that his iconic victory dance can start 0%-death combo on almost every other fighter without a frame-perfect tech.
Always loved Groxias tragic back story. He just wanted to ban creamed corn bc hos wife got killed when a can of the stuff cracked her head open
It's a shame we only find out in Gwimbly 3: Gwimbly's Revenge, it added so much depth to his character
Feels like a RARE game
Well, now we know for sure that Gwimbly was birthed in the deepest recesses of Rare™.
Wouldn't it be absolutely bonkers if Gruntilda (Grunty) was his Mom?
"Gwimbly Winkybunion" just has a nice ring to it.
He looks like if they backported the Nuts & Bolts redesigns to an N64 graphical style.
Huh, I wonder if that was intentional.
Thank goodness I got my copy of Gwimbly's Golf Journey for 14 bucks a few months ago.
Re-sellers are now asking for ~$220 ever since Gwimbly got confirmed for Smash. Even after the IGBG CEO was slain, greed still persists in the world.
I'm ashamed to admit that i emulate a few of the games that popped up on PS2, only because the PS2 version of Super Gwimbly Adventure 2 allowed you to play a secret bonus level as a PLAYABLE Mr. Millipede
😢 RIP Mr. Millipede
I'm so glad to see people finally digging up the OST again.
I've always been a little upset that after the hype for the Gwimbly games people seemingly forgot about it. So it makes me happy seeing everyone praise the games and it's amazing OST in this day and age.
The Gwimbly games really shaped modern gaming to some extend.
This is genuinely fantastic. You have captured the style and feeling of an intense Rareware boss battle *flawlessly*.
Honest to God, this rivals some of Kirkhope's best works from that era.
This piece is highly impressive, and I'm very grateful that you decided to compose the entire thing and upload it.
Imagine being able to single handedly rival Kirkhope at his best. 0:42 gives me such intense emotions its wild
My favorite part of Gwimbly 3 was that if you collected all 800 creamed corn in each level he would pat his belly and laugh before doing his iconic Oooo Oooo Oooo dance.
This takes me back to Gwimbly 3: Gwimbly's Revenge. I used to beat count Groxia's ass using the iconic Gwimbly gun.
Its a great homage to Kirkhope's work
As someone who grew up with DK64, i can say that this songs "grant kirkhope vibes" goes HARD
I remember this theme! I was so hype when they were gonna port it to the PS4.
I remember the Count Groxia boss fight. Best part was when Mr. Millipede threw Gwimply the Gwimbly gun for the final blow
Gwimbly is possibly the greatest thing to ever be birthed in this world.
you do not know how much i would kill for a new good 3d platformer
This is the boss theme of a man who has a wife and two kids! Groxia truly hit the jackpot!
i love how this obviously took inspiration from Banjo Kazooie
Ah Gwimbly, his games were like the drunken cousin of Crash Bandicoot with all the charm Spyro has.
Came here after Seeing Gwimbly in Ready Player one! I don’t care if it was only for one scene, seeing that critter from my childhood really got me in a Gwimbly mood!
Got this was a fun final boss and the one liner by mr millipede was always funny

He can also solo Ben 10 as well. The Gwimbly comics were super weird but interesting.
You nailed it so accurately that I dead ass thought they had gotten Grant to do the music

The fact this song plays in every single Gwimbly game (Except Gwimbly VS 800 Drunk Guys for the Kinect) really shows how good it is.
I don’t care if he’s too big and could break the game! Groxia for smash!
You did not have to go this hard for a meme bro, this is awesome! I could totally imagine this as a boss theme in like donkey Kong 64 or something.

Can't believe I finally managed to get all of the creamed corn and the Slongi in the game. The ending cutscene with Gwimbly going to a cafe, imbibing creamed corn and taking a bite out of the delicious, pretzel-like, infinity-symbol-shaped pastry referred to in-game as a Slongus was absolutely mouth-watering. I'm so glad IGBG put that in there. Those were the days.

Soundfont is top notch, it's totally believable as a NG4 Grant Kirkhope composition. The melody though, it's not even remotely catchy, it sounds like something an AI would come up with, it has none of the energy and soul of a Kirkhope track of that era.
Shoutouts to Gwimbly Advance, underrated gem right there
Gwimbly Rush was also pretty good
Groxia's Revenge is also decent. Also Gwimbly Battle shouldn't be overlooked.
I love how these fan arts of Gwimbly make him look like a Jinjo fused with Sponegbob.

I was so excited back when they announced Gwimbly 4: The Quest for Creamed Corn in a Nintendo Power magazine. It's a shamed they cancelled it, i loved the new Gleep character they showed off.
The fanart is so hype for this original character 😊. Psychic Pebbles is killing it with his monster of a show. Live the dream animators, artists and designers. ❤❤ you can do it
The fact its a full song is amazing
I loved this game as a child. It seems like everybody was torn on which port was better. The N64 port had better controls with the joystick as well as graphics, the PS1 version had higher quality music and audio, like what you're hearing now, and the Sega Saturn version just sucked, ran terribly and controlled like jank. (I had the PS1 version.) The best part of the PS1 version is that it had rumble support and the analog joystick for the dualshock.
Now I want there to be an entire fake OST for a game that doesn’t exist.
Huh?
Wdym fake?
Don't shit on the Gwimbly games man, they are classic masterpieces.
