Saw him perform about a month ago in Detroit. I've been to hundreds of shows. From hip-hop to punk rock to bluegrass, jazz and about everything in between and I think Charley and his band put on the best show I've ever seen.
Amen!! I said the same thing when I saw him last night in Columbia, MO! The way he moves and carries himself, his sound, and the way he gets the crowd going is unlike anyone else I've ever seen. Best performer I've come to see in the dozens of concerts I've seen!
Seen him at the Winnipeg folk festival. He’s what you call THE REAL DEAL Not just country I especially love his western swing jazzy style. Won’t be long before he starts pullin in the big awards
When only the best in country music is called for ... I always go with Charley Crockett. With 2 T's !! Cant lose. Always Aces with this King. Thanks Charley! Respect and yeee haaas from MAINE USA
@donkeyballs7860 it's just a matter of preference, as with any art. Colter tops the heap for me, then charley. Tyler is talented no doubt. I just prefer the voice of the other 2 by a pretty good margin.
Best concert I've ever been to. His stage presence is unreal. It's even better that he has such a huge vault of originals and covers to perform. His live performance of Run Horse Run is *out of this world.*
Heard "I Need Your Love" in the car this year - it blew me away!! Saw them live when they played here in Bloomington IL. Great show !!! That keyboard player that plays trumpet at the same time - WOW!
I've never even heard of him before going to the Outlaw Music Festival, primarily to see Willie Nelson and Billy Strings. Charley Crockett's music blew me away. They've not made country music that sounded this good in nearly 40 years!
I've found my new favorite country artist in Charley Crockett! I've always been a fan of Texas style country and Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash (although not from Texas) and Wylon have been big favs, but Charley is the new voice of true country music! Keep 'em coming Charley!
About as good as it gets if you like old style country....western swing.....Took me a while to find this guy, now have every album in my library.....awesome. Thanks Charley Crockett for keeping old country alive, from a fellow Texan!
I just started listening to him the other day matter of fact the day before Thanksgiving . For a long time I drifted from country music because there were to many sexy tractor songs. I have always been a fan of Dwight Yoakam Waylon Jennings Buck Owens George strait David Ball the list goes on now finally someone that sings country the way it should be and a mixture of Blues I love his style and his sound great voice
We saw him Tuesday, 9/6/22, at the Strand Theatre in Shreveport. Excellent venue, excellent performance! Charley Crockett puts on a show that is well worth the ticket price and then some!!
Great sound, performer and band! Does Texas sound proud like old school Ernest Tubb and Bob Wills!! ❤ But Nashville turned its back on the old sound and people who sing from their heart and not a photograph!! Wish he gets put in the spotlight he deserves!! 🙏🤞 Best of luck Charlie and band!!! Sincerest thanks for letting me tap my foot, my hand, clear my mind and bring my heart and soul back to the caring side! ❤😘😁👍
First seen Charley with Dwight but had heard him before that. This guy is Awesome live a true success story rags to riches from living on the streets to playing with legends, while becoming one himself! A true $10 Cowboy!!
Props to whoever is running the cameras for panning to the different members of Charley's band. As a hobby guitar player, getting to see what leads the electric guitarist is playing gives me ideas for improving myself.
Love that they played Lies and Regret! The song has great pacing, visual lyrics and is fun to sing. I kept this song on repeat when I first found Charley and it’s my fav!
The guy on the steel guitar is absolutely crushing it!!! A stage full of talented musicians, and Charley’s voice is unmatched. So glad to see real country making its comeback so heavily with progressive artists like Charley, Sturgill, Jason Isbell, Sierra Ferrell, Billy Strings, and so many others!
@@Auntkekebaby Cullen Fuchs (spelling?). He played with Ian Moore for years, and has a fantastic band of his own that played in Austin often. Also does George Jones songs better than George did.
