Blinky has trained Jim and given almost all he can give but his knowledge is very well working with the storyline. At the end of Wizards he looked like he had just been beaten very dramatically so he can't defend himself and is just another character to protect and could do without :(
If Jim dies, that just makes him no longer the main character, which will also destroy the point of many other things that are about Jim. Like Jlaire

I know that my theory will sound very stupid to you, but I believe that the Arcane Order shall abandon their malevolent goals. If things were to end happily, the balance between magic and mortals would be restored. This means that their is no need for the Order to bring the Arcane Apocalypses to bring the world to its demise. I believe that the Order shall befriend the Guardians of Arcadia at the end of the series. According to Aaron Waltke (One of the Executive Producer), The Order's greatest fear is magic forgotten in history. It would make sense for them to be redeemed in the series because many of the Guardians of Arcadia are magic-users and the Order would most likely want to live their existence with their missing third.

I think that jim dies. I could imagine that at the end of the movie we will see a statue of him in the new troll market

I think blinky dies by having to sacrifice himself to save jim what gives jim a chance of motivation to belive he can be the trollhunter

I don't think Blinky story is at his end nor do I think he will die. The reason I say this is because personally, he the successor to Vendel. The end of part 1 hinted they will find another troll market, and when they do they need a master troll in charge just like Vendel....I feel like that is going to be Blinky.
I think Varadox Vex might die though mainly because of his "glorious death" catchphrase. But yet again, I feel like he should have died in 3below.
We are getting another series of tales of arcadia cause it cant end like this so my theory of the new series is that jim will change the future and makes an different ending so they can live happily

I don't think will die because he gets beaten right at the start of the movie and doesn't feel that worthy after the end of Wizards so he will regain his WILL and that will be his journey in the movie. He will go from feeling weak to growing stronger from the weak and go on to save the day.

The two changelings Strickler and the girl changeling The green girl in a long time friend Toby all the deaths have made the movie really sad but that’s when Jim went back in time using the time stone and Toby was the new Troll hunter
Mayor Spoilers............ Lets face it, the given ending sucks this way. First. Why not end it bittersweet? Second, If he uses timetravel why not just go back to the very first fight were the arcane Order awakes the Titans in the movie when they came "to late" to stop them. It makes zero sense to reset the full series. I mean, why even introduce stevens kids when they all will be wiped out by the great reset at the end? Sorry for typos Englisch isnt my first language.
although previously in the Troll hunters series from Netflix, first was Kanjigar I think that is the name died from Bular, he was also dead from Jim in the showdown from the first season,, next is Aaarrgh turned to stone from Angor rot but he is dead too smashed from Toby and Jim worked together, but Aarrgh revives from the previous troll hunter ghosts, Angor rot revives from Morgana, Gun mar defeated from Troll Jim in the last season and episode of Troll hunters, in 3 Below King Fialkov and Queen Coranda really sacrifice themselves to save earth from Morando and his evil robots, bounty hunters from out of space were dead from Aja, Krel, Varvatos Vex, Creepslayerz duo and Stuart. Finally Wizards are Galahad sacrifices himself to protect the guardians of Arcadia from the arcane Order, the green knight who turns out to be Arthur pen dragon first died from a battle against Gunmar, his army and son, Lancelot died protecting Steve from Bular then Arthur resurrected from the Arcane order and died again to fighting Morgana causing a fall from a camelot castle piece and Merlin died trying to fight Arthur and turned to dust and a sorcery book, we all seen the deaths from 'tales of arcadia' before
Guys in the trailer they said they had other things to help them win and Jim said and blinky so maybe he does have one more purpose so maybe he won’t die just trying to be positive I like blinky

What if after the movie ends we get a new trollhunters series where we see the story of all (or almost all) the other trollhunters from the past.

Not trying to start any debates, but when you look at all the deaths in the TOA series, Jim really doesn’t make sense.
TOA uses character death to drive the plot forward and motivate the hero or heroes to achieve their ultimate goal. If Jim is the main character, killing him off wouldn’t do anything for the plot.
Second, deaths in TOA have always been mentors, strong allies, or parental figures. Consistently sticking to that pattern throughout the series only to kill off the main character would just feel random and out of place.
Third, according to Arthurian legend, one of the things that makes Excalibur so special is that it grants its wielder immunity in battle. If you look back on Arthur’s death scenes, both times, he drops the sword before he gets killed. While not confirmed, it appears to be likely that as long as the wielder is holding Excalibur, they can’t be killed in battle. If that’s true, than Jim can’t die as long as he has Excalibur in his hands.
Fourth, there’s nothing in the series indicating that a person could die using Excalibur. Especially if it turns out that TOA is staying true to the Arthurian legend mentioned above. If a sword grants its holder immunity, why would it also kill its holder? That feels kinda counterproductive.
Furthermore, while telling a good story is crucial, studios also need to appeal to the fans and Jim’s death would most likely have more negative reactions from fans then positive ones.
Finally, this is a series made by Dreamworks, despite its appeal to many ages, TOA first and foremost a children’s series. Killing off the central protagonist isn’t something used in children’s entertainment. Going back to what I mentioned above, Jim dying wouldn’t just spark negative reactions from the fans, but the parents of the younger fans as well. Killing off the central protagonist is way too dark for children’s entertainment.
And yes, the intended audience does matter. Studios always take that into consideration when writing. The entire goal is to create something their fans would like. That’s how entertainment works.

Honestly the least expected. At least they gave him the you know what at the end. He was basically that 3rd wheel or unnoticeable character in every series.

But jim didn't die, in the last episode in troll hunter tales of arcadia he was just unconscious and in the wizards he was unconscious to but then he dies and then comes back to life

I think nari would die but not in that way. Nari would die I think because and trollhunters have to kill all the titans including Nari’s titan nari sees them having a hard time trying to kill the titan. Nari says to kill the titan you have to kill the on controlling it. So nari sacrifices herself so that
the Titan will die. That’s my theory

I hates how characters died. It makes me feel as if jim is an unworthy hero who can't protect his friends. Kanjigar was right that jim is unworthy as he can't save the trolls in trolllmarket. Merlin is right that douxie alway takes his plan through extremes in order to save his friends. Maybe the protagonists needs to listen more to what there masters have to say. I mean, if I were the protagonist, I would listen to what my superiors have to say before making a plan thoroughly. This way, I can save the world without putting my allies at risk. Anyway, I like your theory. It make sense, make me see things a different ways, and informative.
