Thank you for this excellent video, and especially your thoughtful overview of Phillis Wheatley's life and poetry. I really appreciated your clarity in alluding to the many forces at play that may have compelled Wheatley to refer to her kidnapping as "mercy." Also, in particular, appreciated your closing note that her work is notable not only for the circumstances of her life, but as an exceptional body of work in its own right.
I have just found your channel and your videos are very nice to relax to when having anxiety or just trying to get some sleep. Your voice is calming and I always learn something new! Thanks and keep it up
Emerson thought Whitman would become the Poet he described in his essay or at least had the most potential. And as the former addressed his new discovery in a letter used in the appendix to his second edition of LOG, I too, greet you at the beginning of a great career. I have a great joy in your channel.
Hi Adam. I have recently found your channel and it is a fantastic resource. I have a few questions regarding poetry. Need some guidance, do you have an email address, so that I could ask (Unless you are more than happy to answer in the comments section).

Either way is fine! I have my email in the about section of my channel page, if you prefer that.
