    I love MGTDs. This film is a great discovery, especially the scenes with Cary Grant driving. I own a 1951 MGTD and two 1954 MGTFs. Delightful cars, also very beautiful. Guy in Columbia Mississippi

    How goofy ! The last one was "Sgt. Carter" of Gomer Pyle fame, in a romantic scene. "Surprise, surprise, surprise !" Lol !!!

    There is a Brazilian film from 1954 called "É proibido beijar" where there are many scenes with an MG TD

    In a Tom Haks movie "Every Time We Say Goodbye", he's a fighter pilot in WW2 in Israel, who goes out with a girl and as theyre coming home they drive up in an MGTD ! They wouldnt exist for at least another 9 years .

      I believe Peter O'Toole's character drove a prewar Singer Le Mans, rather than a TD.

      @@alexgreen1559 I saw the film once. When it came out, 55 years ago. I knew zilch about cars then, not much more now. But that image: it stuck! So it was a Singer Le Mans. Hmm. Thanks for that.
