These guys' music helped me make it through this disease. Also, 4 months ago I broke up with the love of my life and there I was, listening to their songs over and over. When they released this one I was having a terrible day because I couldn't stop thinking about her. The lyrics and the melody hit me like a punch to the stomach. I instantly started to dance to it as if there was nothing else to worry about in life. Now here I am, had a bad day again (still thinking of her) and decided to listen to this song. It's been on repeat for 20 minutes now. I just keep coming back for more and more :)

What I like about Parcels is the element of surprise. You think they'll be heading one way in musical style and BAM! - something different with the next song or album. Love the vocal harmonies (as always!). Did anyone think of Steely Dan when hearing this song?
It reminds of Led Zep 3 when they took a hiatus and made some of the best acoustic sounds of the decade. Didn't know they had it in the repertoire, but it's now a top five song.

This band is simply amazing. The way they play 70'soul music with a touch of dance thumping bass hooks would make Nile Rodgers beam. Lots of music is based on precedent. Odds are, you’ve heard a song very similar to this one and just can’t connect the dots to the other title. I’m not invalidating you, the talented musicians at parcels, or being negative whatsoever by saying this. There’s only so many chord progressions available and many have been repeated over the decades because they sound good, are fun to play, work with repetitive lyrics, etc.
Such a wonderful, musically tight group of individuals that you can tell love what they are doing. An absolute breath of fresh air in all of the noise pollution we have these days.

Till three years ago, I met the most beautiful angel man in this world. He taught me that home is us. We built our own home. However, things are not always going well. Half a month ago, he kicked me out of our home. He asked me to leave his country. Finally, I went back to where I was born. I am still "find a way back home." I hope that there is one day I can say to myself I am my home:)
