When The Black Crows came on the scene in 1990, they were the only new band doing the kind of '70's Blues Rock that we were all still listening to but nobody was doing anymore.

Otis Redding did the original and many others over the years covered it. The Black Crowes did their version of it and was on their Shake Your Money Maker album in 1990. 'She Talks To Angels' would be another good reaction vid by them off same album 🤘😎🤘

I love the Otis Redding version. He put a church song on the B side and sold it to gospel stations. The poor kids with no money would get Granma to buy the church song. Take it home and play the A side they heard on the R & B station.

I love this song. This and Unskinny Bop remind me of my late husband who was killed in a horrific car crash. Sweet, sweet summer memories of us walking down the path in the woods to our favorite swimming place that had cold clear water and beautiful waterfalls with him singing these songs at the top of his lungs. I’ve been with my man I am with now for 17 years but I still love my late husband and think of him often. ❤️
I never knew this is a cover.

You guys should do a live stream where you do nothing but covers, but, start with the original first and then play the cover that was requested of the same song. It would be cool to see you guys react to the original song done by the original artist and then compare it to the cover song. THEN, give your opinion on which you liked best.

Funny story. I was at a bar one evening in the early 90s and these guys were at the back of the bar drunk as lords. They had run out of cash so they convinced the bartender to play for drinks because the place was setup to have local bands to play. Even drunk they blew the place down. They were still pretty much unknown at the time but this was one of the songs they did. I was sitting about 15 feet away. Ahh good times.

I like the BC's but Otis still owns this one. He wrote "Respect" too.

This is an amazing cover of a hit from the legendary Otis Redding! Check out his hits, Try A Little Tenderness and Dock of the Bay! The Black Crows are an amazing band! I love their song, She talks to Angels!! Very soulful!!❤️❤️

If you would like to hear something from a time when music was intricate, delicate, entrancing, and thought provoking.
Emerson, Lake, and Palmer... "From The Beginning"!
Or, maybe, Robin Trower... "bridge Of Sighs"!

Great song. Used to go off on the drums on this one. I mean seriously overplay which was my MO back in the day.
