Let me say this I grew up in same impoverished areas near and exactly where Meek grew up in Philly. I recently just graduated from University of Pittsburgh and been working since I was 17 years old at multiple jobs. I am literally a week away from a full time job with Oakley corporate. Their are alot of opportunities for people to succeed in the hood, but u as a person have to look for other opportunities then taking the easy way out and get caught up in the regular hood narratives. For example my cuzzo and me grew up together the same way I ended up going to college and he got caught up in the fast life now hes locked up. We have to be more accountable and look for better within ourselves. Just because one door closes doesn't mean you give up on trying to do the right thing.

Let me say this I grew up in same impoverished areas near and exactly where Meek grew up in Philly. I recently just graduated from University of Pittsburgh and been working since I was 17 years old at multiple jobs. I am literally a week away from a full time job with Oakley corporate. Their are alot of opportunities for people to succeed in the hood, but u as a person have to look for other opportunities then taking the easy way out and get caught up in the regular hood narratives. For example my cuzzo and me grew up together the same way I ended up going to college and he got caught up in the fast life now hes locked up. We have to be more accountable and look for better within ourselves. Just because one door closes doesn't mean you give up on trying to do the right thing.
I've never seen him so willing to talk, made me see him in a whole new light.
