Some machines just have walking feet, but no needle feed. So "unison feed" aka "triple feed" could be considered a fourth type of feed. Machines with walking foot feed but no needle feed have one foot to hold the material while the needle is down in the material and a second foot which "walks" in unison with the lower feed dog while the needle is up. Triple feed and needle feed move the material while the needle is down pinning the layers together. Drop feed and basic walking foot feed move the material while the needle is up.

I am new to the industrial overlocker, so learning as I go. I have tried to find a downloadable operation manual, but to no avail. I am sewing knits at the moment and getting a wavy edge. Can you advise me on what adjustments I need to make? Thank you
