The RCC chained Bibles to church walls. What little the laity knew, was by looking at the pictographs of church stain glass windows.

@@65edr thank you! IF there is an outline handout that I’ve referenced in the video, there will be a link to download it in the first comment of that video.

Greetings Pastor Bob . I was wondering about one of gifts of the Holy Spirit , prophecy.
One of my daughters belong to a Pentecostal church that puts es much emphasis on prophecy as on tongues.
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
These are the scriptures from Joel and Acts that the base their belief.
    Thank you. Loving this series.

@@Kathleen253 personally, I see no problem scripturally in putting an emphasis on prophecy. Ultimately, there should be more emphasis put on the fruit of the spirit then on the gifts. And that historically has been a problem with the Pentecostal movement.

@@cornellministriesthank you so much for your answer. That is totally my thought, as well. I am about worn out on what comes first tongues or prophecy.
Truly it is by the fruit evident in our lives by which we shall be known.
      Thank you so much.
